Don't Let Anybody Define You!

I live my life outside of the box because when I die they're going to put me into one!

Many times in this life, people will try to tell you what you can and cannot do. They will also try to tell you who you are and who you are not. DON’T LET ANYBODY DEFINE YOU! When I was a kid, I had a teacher tell me that I would never be a millionaire because I was black and the system was set up to keep me down. This was a TEACHER! Can you believe that? I’m so glad that my little boy mind didn’t accept that. I have often been told that I wouldn’t make it because I was poor or because of the color of my skin. I had family members tell me I would never make it and my dreams would never come true for one reason or another... boy were they wrong. If I had listened to any of those voices I wouldn’t be here writing this to you. Hear me when I say this to you: no matter what anyone says to you, LIVE YOUR LIFE!! Follow that still small voice inside of you. That is GOD’s Holy Spirit and I think we all have the capacity to hear that voice. We just need to still ourselves to hear it. You must silence all the outside voices in order to hear THE voice. I try to stay as clear as I can so that I can hear it. It’s not always easy, but necessary.

This is your life. Make decisions based on your own path. Let no one define it for you!

If you live the life everyone else wants you to live and you never live the life you want to live, then are you really living??

Life is so short... Live it to the fullest!!

"Defining Moment" Yesterday I felt I had come to the lowest point possible in my life. Here I am 28 years old and unemployed. The sad thing is that I have a bachelor's and master's degree. I was the first grandchild of my grandmother's to go to college and graduate and I was also the first to obtain a graduate degree. I was told my entire life that I wouldn't excel or succeed. Those words have always stung in the back of my mind. However, I pushed beyond my fears and went out on faith because I believed I could and would make something of my self. Here I am 10 years and two degrees later and nothing to show for my efforts but more and more debt. I don't have to make 100,000 a yr. The only thing I have ever wanted to do was to take care of my mother who gave her last dime anytime I needed anything for school. She believed in me, she motivated me, and encouraged me through it all. My mother is a strong believer and loves the Lord as much as I do. I know that she sacrificed so that one day I would make her proud. I only feel that lately I have only wasted the last ten years of my life. I have never been the type of person to just give up or to loose faith but at this point my dreams are just that "dreams". I really wanted to comment and say that Tyler you are blessed beyond measure. Be thankful for your blessings and never forget that "God" smiled on you for a reason. You pushed through and made it. Hopefully one day I will reach my goal and make my mother proud. I will be able to take care of her and share my entire story with others. Thank you for being an inspiration and showing me that I can sore high if I just continue to have faith and believe.

Dear Mr. Perry: I am a loyal fan of yours. I have watched all of your movies, plays, and the television show “House of Payne.” I have sponsored bus trips to Atlanta, GA to attend your plays at the Fox Theater. I believe GOD blessed you with multiple talents and a special gift when it comes to acting. This letter is in reference to my church. This year, (we) The Lundy Chapel Family have embarked on a huge project. We are in the process of building a Community Life Center. This center will be a safe haven for all people and is geared toward helping children. The center will be a place where children will be nurtured and cared for. They will learn various life and occupational skills (computer skills, cooking, etiquette, and sewing), basic school subjects (math, science, language arts, reading, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese) in order to prepare kids for the 21th century. There will also be sporting activities (basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and baseball) in the center. This center will have something for the entire community. Will you please support our endeavors with a spiritual contribution to help our church family complete our project? Your support to help bring this vision to a reality would be greatly appreciated. We invite you to attend Lundy Chapel anytime you are in the Middle Georgia area. Please take a minute and visit the church website: www.lundychapelmbc.com. Thank you in advance for your support. Yours truly, Patricia A. Parker-Dumas Member - Lundy Chapel Baptist Church

Re: Alex Cross I saw the trailer at Madea Witness Protection. Have been waiting for the release date. I think this will be your exceptional role. I have desired to see you play in a role that you did not write, produce or direct. Not that I doubted your abilities, but it will show that you are phenomenon in another producer's, director's , and writer's work. James Patterson is a brilliant writer, and I was up until 2 a.m. reading the excerpts from the book: Cross. Now I think I must read the entire book. I think that you, Matt, Carmen, and Cicely are going to be a great team. Can't wait to see this movie. P>S> Don't forget to remind all of your followers that Sparkle starts this Friday and we all need to make this movie great. Not Whitney's last work ,but Whitney's BEST WORK""""

People have a right to disagree with this Kardashian thing if they like. Just as much as you have a right to defend it. Kardashian seemingly has no interest in promoting purity. At this point in time she is simply one of the type women mentioned in Proverbs chapters 5 and 7. Mr. Perry beware. I think you're sincere and I love you with the Love of God but His word tells us that bad company CORRUPTS good morals. Keep on the straight and narrow Tyler, and people pray for Kim to change.
