Don't Think I'm Crazy...

Don't think I'm crazy, lol. Have you ever turned off all the lights in your house and used the light from your cell to lead you to the room you were trying to get to (and no my lights are not cut off..lol)? I turn the cell phone light toward my feet and walk to where I'm going in the dark all the time.  I was doing that tonight and something made me smile. Ok, tell me if you've ever done it before and then I'll tell you what moved me about it tomorrow. I'll tell you by noon!  :-) Hit me up on the message board…

Hi Tyler, I had to laugh as I opened and read your email, then I said wow Tyler does that too, I was inspired lol, no really............ I actually love doing that in my apartment and even sometimes I close my eyes and walk feeling my way with my hand. It helps me stay much more humble than I am. I do that then I think, you can open your eyes and see then I think about the million and one that can't, I am grateful for my sight oh and my lights..........even my cell phone..........lol p.s. Mr. Perry thanks for sharing Inspired One, Lawrence Steadham

No sir you arenot crazy. I do the same thing. The lamp is by my front door & once it is turned off it's dark so i use my cell phone to light my way to my bedroom.

  • Ann

No, you are not crazy the price everyone pays for the phones. I say you are very smart. I use my light for the same reason. Because I do not want to wake up my three year old nephew. Long it works hey go for it.

No I don't think that you are crazy. You used what you had to get where you was trying to go.I have not had to use it yet in the house . I have had to use my light while sitting in the coliseum for my business training making notes because the lighting that is used is very dim.I thank God that I was able to use what I had to get what I wanted done. I know what I was there to get and I wasn't going to allow any thing to get in my way! Thanks so much love you have a blessed day.

Hi Tyler, I know I'm late responding but YES...I use my cell phone for light all of the time. My newborn grand baby sleeps in my room when she is here and my husband works 1st shift. I am an insomniac so when I wake (or can't sleep) I use the cell phone to light my way until I can use light. I laughed so hard when I read your email. I laughed so hard because I now know that I am not the only one that does that. I see I'm in great company. I love you Tyler.

Hi Tyler, You know you crack me up!!!! I can't stop laughing when I read your posts!!! anyway, your question about the cell phone use of light to get around the house @ night, no, I don't think you are crazy, tho I love your humor! and no, I don't use my phone for light, tho it remind me of two occasions at work when the lights went out, and the generator didn't kick right in we were forced to use our cells phones to check on our patients, and to light the nurse station up. It only lasted but an hour or so, but it is amazing how much light the cell phones give. I love following you Tyler, but to be honest I'm not feeling tweet to much, tho you can hit me up at any given time on" Face Book" and I miss talking to you & chatting here on the board, so let's keep it going ok. Thank You! and please don't ever take Mr. Brown off television, you know you & his are the funnies comedians I ever watched! Love You! Stay Blessed.

Oh yes Mr. Perry, I sure have done the same exact thing and I still do it all the time. I guess we are all crazy. But I am anxious to hear your thoughts on that.

Hey Tyler, I didn't get to respond earlier because I've been trying to s**** with my workout routine. I work my job from 12 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and after I pick my son up and try to go for a quick walk and then a little strength training. However, as for the phone light I've used that light on a regular basis and have even set the light timer to unlimited. Never thought about the phone light being the light of my feet. It might be best if I leave my feet in the dark because they need to be alone. LOL. Seriously though, I will use the light at feet to show the path that's waiting to be taken.

Tyler, I don't think that you are crazy. I use my cell phone light at night to see the buttons on my remote while I am in bed. lol.
