The help

Hey,

I'm so glad that thousands of you have decided to come out and see the live DVD taping of my two new plays, AUNT BAM'S PLACE and I DON'T WANT TO DO WRONG.  Ms. Ella (Cassi Davis) is going to be in rare form in AUNT BAM'S PLACE on Tuesday and Wednesday then on Friday and Saturday, Palmer Williams Jr. (Floyd) and a new find of mine, Ms. Patrice Lovely are going to make you laugh until you hurt in I DON'T WANT TO DO WRONG. I'm telling you, they couldn't even get through the table read, they were laughing so hard. Again only $25, at the Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta, Georgia on August 30th-31st & September 2nd-3rd.  This will be the most fun you and I probably have had in a while. Come laugh with us.

Had to tell you this.

I saw a movie called, THE HELP that opens this Friday. I must say, I really enjoyed it! I love looking back and seeing how far we've come. And the performances in this film are stellar. Ms. Cicely Tyson was exceptionally Cicely. Viola Davis, this woman is remarkable. Octavia Spencer, she was like watching joy rise on the screen.

You know I don't recommend a lot of movies, so this one has to be special, right? Well it is! Go see it if you can this weekend. THE HELP!

I really enjoyed it.

DEAR MR. PERRY, FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY I'M GLAD THAT YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN. THAT BEING SAID, I KNOW YOU ARE A PRAYING MAN. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD KEEP MY FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS. MY 10 YR. OLD DAUGHTER, KAYLA, JUST LOVES YOU TO DEATH. MY HUSBAND, RICK, HAS LEFT THE HOME. I LOST MY JOB ABOUT A MONTH AGO. MY DAUGHTER IS MISSING HER DADDY TERRIBLY. THE LANDLORD WHERE WE LIVE HAS THEIR PLACE UP FOR SALE AND WE ONLY HAVE A SHORT TIME TO FIND A PLACE. JUST PRAY FOR A FINANCIAL MIRACLE THAT WE CAN FIND A PLACE (OUR CREDIT IS NOT THE BEST). MY HUSBAND WILL NOT RETURN HERE WHERE WE ARE AT NOW. HE IS ALSO LOOKING FOR A BETTER JOB. AND THE ONLY CAR WE HAVE IS ON ITS LAST LEG NOW. ANYWAY, I NEED PRAYER FOR RESTORATION IN OUR MARRIAGE AND A FINANCIAL MIRACLE TO FIND US (ALL THREE OF US) A PLACE TO LIVE. WE ONLY HAVE ABOUT 2 MONTHS OR SO TO GET OUT. APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO, AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU. LOVE IN CHRIST, PAM NEEDY

Dear Mr. Perry, Firstly I must commend you; you are doing a fantastic job globally. I really admire the way you have been pressing on eagerly. You have touched many lives here in Jamaica via your productions and most importantly you have touched my life. As a young lady who has been through a lot of struggles your motivational lines really helped. Your productions never cease to remind me that help is just behind the dark cloud. I applied to the northern Caribbean university in 2011. I was elated when I got the news that my application was accepted. Executing the initiative of financing my own education, I acquired a job at the university’s cafeteria. The pay however was minimal and unsatisfactory, so I acquired an additional job at the NCU media group. It was certainly hectic working over 14 hours per day, and despite my greatest effort it is apparent that I will not be able to finance my education alone. I am direly lacking financial assistance from family members. My mother is diagnosed with a mental illness and so is unable to assist me financially and emotionally, my dad tries his utmost but can only afford to pay my monthly rent and occasionally my loving grandmother will sacrifice her last to ensure I have food. I am therefore seeking your assistance in any way possible, be it opportunity or cash. I am a strong believer in working for what I want and with that I am willing to undertake any job which is media related, for the experience as well as the income. With your assistance of cash I will be able to complete my bachelor’s degree in Mass Media and Communication in significantly shorter time, hopefully equipping me with the mechanism I need to help my family. Sir I am really anticipating your response. Yours truly T. Henry

Just wanted to let you know I enjoyed the message you sent about (Kim) , I think the idea God has given you is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful to those whose will keepan open mind. We must remember the title of all your plays and movies is , LOVE, FORGIVENESS and RESTORATION. Everyone has a sole. Are we now trying to tell God now who to work through????From what I know I loves me as well as the next person. One Pastor ; I heard say, If you knew all that I had done ::::you'd never ask me to pray for you. Let's let God continue to use who he wants and enjoy the message he wants us all to learn.Be blessed everyone (I now I need all the prayer, love , restoration from he can give me).

My sister and I pray and thank God for you and your life. I get a chance to get out from time to time to truly enjoy myself and attend plays. I am one who read the Word of God for my pastor and was so flattered that you may or may not have mocked me in a play. I am honored to be used in any manner to bring a belly laugh out of anyone. God can do whatever and with whomever He choses. He can use a soup spoon to cut a roast beef if He wants. Nothing is too hard for God. Sorry for the trials of your life but I also thank God that you endured them all in Jesus name! Take care and be blessed.

Dear Mr.Perry, I am quite possiably your biggest fan, and i do the best impression of madea that you will ever see.I am writting you because i am at a crossroads in my life all too soon. At 19 I have been through more then most ever have been in their life. My mother whom i hold dearly to my heart has suffered a double heart attack over 3 states, open heart surgery, and had a pacemaker put in and will need a heart transplant in the future in order for her to live. Growing up i had my childhood taken from me and because of these events and those unmentioned i was forced to grow up before my time. Mr.Perry i am at a point in my life where i am lost and eventhough i have seen God's wonders, my faith has seem to be cloudy and im afraid that he has forgotten me or that i have forgotten him, and i am scared. I hope that you are reading this Mr.Perry and i hope that you can answer ,y cry for help and offer me words of wisdom and encouragement and that you can tell me those words i need to hear at this stage in my life. Thank you in advance for your time Mr.Perry, continue to do the incrediable work that you do and God bless you for all that you have given me.

My family and I were @ the BJCC in Birmingham AL on 10/15/2011 enjoying THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS, which was beautifully written with a wonderful cast. Regardless of what you do, there is always a messsage about having faith and relying on the Lord. The ride back to Montgomery we were discussing "SEASONS" . The young lady you have in the play Patrice Lovely is such a gifted person, we all knew she was talented but to see her with the "Tyler Perry " stamp made Montgomery proud. This scripture came to our minds that apply to both you and Patrice Lovely Acts 1:7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. Please continue to be a blessing to the world, and thanks for letting Patrice Lovely's Montgomery family see her in action !!! (what a great find)

I did not want to post on a public domain, Tyler, but if this is the only way I can reach you - then I guess this is it. You are truly, truly, truly awesome and so raw and FOR REAL and it comes through with every message that you send. Your heart is just in everything that you do. The only word I can say is "Shabocka" for some reason. I don't know if it means anything to you, but every time I want to reach out to you in a way that you would know it means something or touch a spiritual nerve, that word keeps dropping into my spirit. Yes, I am from New Orleans and still here in Cleveland, OH since Katrina - which no one but God could have orchestrated (are you still here?). My story is long and unique. I can only tell you that I share a vision so huge and I'm sure it must be how you got started and just said to yourself one day - I'm just going to do this! Well, I'm there with all the hurdles trying to block me from leaping past. Please talk to me about how you just jumped past them. Please talk to so I can really share my heart, but ONLY if this is stirring something inside of you and COMPELLING you to do so. If it isn't, then you are not my answer and I must be just sifting through a pile of straws until I find the right one. I believe you're the right one, but is it just my WISH or is it a true message. Lord help me to be sure because I have to do this and do it now.

Hi Tyler Man i just luv watching ur movies. Angie in "Why Did I Get Married", is the worst character i've ever seen. I don't know how Marcus got to be involved with her - but it's like he loves her the way she is - gud stuff. And Mike, Sheila's hubby, much as i hate the way he laughs at her, i find myself being amused by his silly, demeaning laughter everytime he laughs. How silly ... LOL!!!!!! Talk about loving to hate but end up loving anyway. Keep up the good work and when are u coming to South Africa?
