I Can't Find the Words

I’m trying to find the words to say thank you. Almost 3 million of you went to see MADEA’S WITNESS PROTECTION this weekend. WOW! I THANK GOD FOR YOU!! It’s going to take me a second to get the right words together to share. But just know that I so appreciate it, along with everybody here at Tyler Perry Studios.

If you didn’t see MADEA’S WITNESS PROTECTION, it's in theaters now, although it’s in far fewer theaters than any of the movies that opened this weekend (which is one of my fights). I hope that doesn’t stop you from going to see it. You may have to drive a little bit, but you’ll laugh a whole lot.

I told you it was hilarious. Tell all your friends and Facebook folks and tweeters to go see it. Ok? Don’t leave all that laughter to yourself :)

I love you.

Talk soon and may God bless you,

Tyler

Dear Mr Perry, I have been one of your bigest fan over the years. I know you are a man of god, I feel compelled to tell you this, after long though and guidness. here it is you stopped listening to god. What r you doing Hollowood has gotten to you and you are being persuraded by them?? going along with the pressure?"? i no longer hear the prasing of god in your work. In stead you are going political siding with people that you shouldn't be going along with?? I'm sorry about your changes. come back to working for GOD until then I'm no longer a fan

Mr. Perry, My best friend and I are some of your biggest fans, we just went (with my 3 yr old) to see Witness Protection. As always, we were dying laughing. But what I love most about your movies is the underlying life lesson. It is always great. I always tell my best friend that if I am feeling down, or like I need to go to church, I play one of your movies! Also, I love that I can allow my 3 year old to watch your movies or plays. I believe I own them all. I would love to see your plays in person at some point in my life. Keep on keepin on, we love it.

Tyler man you are so very welcome. Me and my family went to see the Witness Protection. We will always be here for you to support your art. You are so grateful and humble that it only makes your supporters respect you all that much more. The movie was excellent. Just know that we love and care about you more than you know. You should consider writing another book about your incredible journey. May God continue to bless you and don't ever change. We love you and good night. God bless!

Saturday afternoon at the movies was great. I was so excited and I loved Madea as always. Uncle Joe was great and the attorney nephew..... OMG what a hunk. Tyler your work is awesome, inspiring, entertaining and real. I have a request. You have such a wonderful platform to educate people. I was wondering if in your next movie you could expand a bit on Uncle Joe's health. I would like for him to have diabetes or "sugah" as it has been called in the African American community. I can envision a scene with Madea yelling at him for not testing his blood sugar or getting off his a-- to take a walk. My husband and so many others suffer and there are so many things that education could do to help. Maybe even a scene with Madea trying to cook healthy soul food to help Joe. I am not asking for the whole movie to preach about Diabetes and health, just a few clips. Thank You.

I saw it on Friday night; I LOVED THIS MOVIE. I had a headache for two days from laughing too much at this movie. we bought our tickets a day before it came out so it wouldn't be sold out and we was right it was a sold out show and we was lucky to get seats at the very top of the theater to see the full picture before anyone else. People don't listen to the critics and go and see it TRUST me you won't be disappointed with Madea's new movie. Support it on the 4th of July. This is your best film yet. I can't wait till Alex Cross. Take care Mr. Perry :)

Loved, loved, loved Madea's latest. Perfect opening for this hot weekend in GA. The theater I went to was full and everyone had a roaring good time. Thanks Tyler for giving us something on the big screen that is actually entertaining. Everyone can sit back and forget all their troubles and get a good dose of laughter. I recommend your movies to all my friends. Great movie. Keep 'em coming!

Now what's wrong with having a dysfunctional white family in a Tyler Perry movie. It certainly made for some hilarious moments as Madea and family taught them how to be better people. Madea's Witness Protection is a wonderfully made movie about relationships, love, loss, and the comedy of our errors. I'm going to pray for ignorant people who think Tyler Perry is trying "to follow Hollywood rules." They just don't get it. They don't get that the very fact that Tyler Perry can write, produce, direct, act, and give jobs to thousands has already created new rules for Hollywood. They don't get how extraordinary it is for a Black man, a brother, to build a studio, provide employment to so many, and still remain humble and grateful for the talents God has given them. I'm proud of you Tyler Perry. I thank God for your presence in our world. You are truly a gift.
