It May Take A While
It's funny how a song, a taste, a scent, or something as simple as a change in weather can trigger a memory. Certain times of year make me think about when I was homeless. Especially the winter. I started thinking about this one lady in particular who helped me out during that time. She was a good soul who saw me in need and gave me money and food. She didn't have much but what she had she shared out of the kindness of her heart. I told her that when I got successful I would pay her back. She smiled and said, "You don't have to pay me anything. I just felt led to help you."
I couldn't stop thinking about her the other day so I did some research and found her. Imagine her shock when I called her. She didn't even think that I remembered her. It's funny how something that was a small gesture to her was a huge blessing to me. As we went on talking, she reluctantly told me that she had just lost her job and was facing foreclosure. Of course, I did some things to help her out.
Why am I telling you this? I'm glad you asked. She gave to me out of the kindness of her heart. She gave to me from a pure place and expected nothing in return. The thing that brought tears to my eyes and blessed me so about this situation was this: this woman planted a seed in my life almost twenty years ago. But what she didn't know at the time was that the seed she planted would one day come back and bless her life just when she needed it most.
So what am I saying? I'm saying that if you are a giver of whatever you have... time, money, love, help, whatever it is... if you plant it in pureness it has got to come back to you. It may take a while but you will reap a harvest from that seed. Don't be weary in well-doing. It will come back to you. I know sometimes it may seem that all the good you do goes unnoticed by people, but if they don't notice, it doesn't matter. If they don't acknowledge your kindness, it does not matter. You know why? Because I promise you God sees it all and He is the only one that matters. And He is bound by His word, and that word says you will reap what you sow. So sow on, sow good seeds. They will grow and come back to you when you least expect it.
God bless you today.

Why don't you do a movie about a mother who was told by God that he has prepared a place for her kids with a man she didn't know. But God revealed certain things about him to her that only him and God knew. Now she got to take all her energy and strength with God's help to get these kids to this man's home before time catches up with her.

Amen, and Praise the Lord. "IT MAY TAKE A WHILE". sure, your story is an encouraging to those of us who are going through some challenges, your testmony reminds me of seeds, there are different types of seeds, some seed grow very fast from the ground, while some seeds take months, years, to bear fruits. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.....Isaiah 40:31. This lady, planted a seed which took 20 yrs to bear her friuts, even though she did not expect for her blessing to come from you. she waited faithfully upon the Lord of all surprises. The good seed she planted in good faith from deep down of her heart, finally after 20 yrs, she has harvested a bumper harvest. There are times when I feel as though I have failed things in life, sometimes I feel i shoud stop helping people, but inside me I still feel i should help somebody again and again. Thanks for your testmony Tyler, I will continue doing good to all those God sends me to. God bless you Mr. T Perry and all those in your business.

This story blessed my heart! I love to give secretly! What seems little to you may mean the world to the one that you are blessing. And even if they forget, God doesn't! Sometimes you don't understand why God prompts you to give but you simply follow through. More importanlty, If you have something to give than your already blessed so it truly is more blessed to give than recieve!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I wish it was me who had been graced with someone like you along my journey. But I will continue to believe that somehow I will see the goodness of God in this land of the living for me and my children. I have 5 children (all school age)...I have no job, no income, no child support coming in, not on welfafe and don't want to be on welfare since I am able to work physically and mentally, etc... but I haven't found work. After placing in literal hindreds of employment applications, I am holding on to hope for a brighter day to finally become my own for me and mine. It is not easy, but no matter how gloomy my present situation may seem, someone is facing worse than me so why should I complain. I will just keep pressing forth and believe that my season of blessing will come and finally remain so that I too can be of greater help to others beyond me and my little omes in our own times of need. I wish you and yours well always and teust that even in what has been your greatest achievements thus far, that your best days are still to unfold. Keep being you and keep doing what you do. May God bless you always!

Good Day Mr. Perry: I am really excited and can't wait to see your new movie Temptation; I have two questions for you: 1) Does the release or making of this movie has anything to do with the Chinese Year of the Snake or is it a mere coincidence? 2) Have you given any consideration to Ellen's movie proposal "Sisters from another Mista" ? and I you have..could you please include Sofia Vergara in it. I must confess to you that my guilty pleasure is to spend Sunday afternoon watching youtube videos of Ellen and Sofia and They always make me laugh so hard that just the thought of having Madea , Ellen and Sofia in a cast, well, I think that would be just plain hilarious lol. God Bless! Viviana

Good Evening Mr. Perry, I am so looking forward to seeing your movie, Temptation. I just love your messages of valuing each person God has assigned in our lives to perfect and mature us. I do think this message will be well received. I am hoping you can call and wish me a Happy Birthday. I have had a tough week, and it would really make my day to hear your voice . Now, I know you are a VERY busy man, so if I do not hear from you, I promise to have a blessed day anyways. I will be celebrating with my children and my new internet boyfriend. I hope we all just get along. This new age dating is risky but fun. I hope you have a wonderful premier of Temptation. See you at the movies on Good Friday!
