Madea On Tour. Hellur!

Hellur! This is Madea,

I was coming on this interlink email thang to let y'all know that I'm going on tour. That's right, on the road in a bran new play called MADEA GETS A JOB!!

Times done got hard on my side of town so I went to work. They making an old woman come out of retirement. This show is hilarious. I can't wait to get out there and make you hurt yoself laughin.

Now listen, I know times are hard right now so I told these promoters that in every city I wanted the tickets to start at $25. NOTICE I SAID START AT $25. Ok. But they go up from there. Two thangs I want you to be sure of... One is that I said START AT $25, and the other is that I wanted to be sure that everybody can come have a good time.

Now if you order on that computer they make you pay a whole lot extra charges. So what I would suggest is that you take a trip to the theatre box office and save them $15 and sometimes $30 fees that they put on top of the ticket prices. I ain't got nothing to do with that. That's they fees chil', they call it a service charge. So to avoid them high fees, go to the box office honey. And get 'em at the price that I'm telling you it is.

I wish all the tickets could be $25 but they can't cause the show is very expensive. So the highest ticket price is $85. That's still cheaper than a concert ticket. And this is a big show, and the ending is going to blow your mind. Y'all know I don't do nothing half way.

I'm adding dates all year long, but these are the first few cities. And tickets are on sale now.

Tyler and Cast, You all are awesome. This was a early Mothers Day gift for my Mom, 4th row seats and a great before show dinner. We watch all the Tyler Perry movies as well as the plays and you always make me laugh. Your faith is amazing and all the talks at the end of your plays hit home. I cant thank you enough for last night and the concert was great. Also thanks for all you did for Whitneys family. I loved her so much and am still praying for her wonderful daughter and family. Can not wait to the next play. Thanks for all your hard work and for caring so much about your cast. Safe travels to all of you. If you ever need a white girl for a part of the play you get in touch with me!

Dear Mr.Perry I just left your play (RoanokeVA) I have never laughed so much. It was truly a blessing to be able to come to the play. The after show was out of this world, then to go out and seeing you have the police escort and then you waved at all of us. I too like everyone else cannot wait for the next play. I will be adding this one to my Tyler Perry collection. God Bless you and your crew. Praying for travling mercies !!!!

Hi Tyler, I must say that "Madea Gets A Job" was awesome. I must admit that this is one of your first shows I've seen live and I really had a good time. Some parts really hit home for me and that's what I like about your plays, movies they realy touch the heart. I hope that this comes on dvd because it will be added to the collection of Tyler Perry movies and plays. Oh I dear not forget to mention the ending with the concert, I hope that will be a part of the dvd as well. May God continue to bless each of you in a special way. Be Blessed.

I saw "Madea Gets a Job" yesterday. It was wonderful. I took my mother and she enjoyed it as well. The ending was fantastic, but the concert after was worth the price of a ticket. You have some awesome singers in this play. I just ask that when you put this one on DVD (and I hope you do) please include the concert. Another job well done. Thanks.

Mr. Perry I hope this note finds you in great health! I want to start by saying I love all of your work. Most recent I have gotten stuck on the Meet the Browns, and House of Payne's. I have been going to my local Moviestop to pick up the DVD's of both TV shows. They have all of your work, movies, tv shows as well as plays. Both of your TV shows have made me cry as well as laugh so hard I could not breath and sometimes at the same time. And just like your movies they make me want to get up get out and try and change the world. You have a way of dealing with strong emotional topics with humor without taken the seriousness of it away. For me there has not been a TV show like yours since the Cosby show. Which will always be one of the greats in my book. Please don't ever stop doing what God has so obviously planned for you and all those you have touched. As for your new play is there any plans to bring it to New Jersey? I see you have it coming to Baltimore, MD and will drive there if I have to, but I really do hate driving over bridges. Thank you for your time and thank you for sharing your God given talent with all of us.

Mr.Tyler, saw "Madea Gets A Job" play last night a the BJCC in Birmingham. What an immaculate show. My grandson (18 yrs old) and I attended and had the best time. It does the soul good to laugh! : -) The advice you gave was great and I wouldn't have missed seeing the show for nothing. The concert following the play was great also. Didn't know you could sing too!! Keep up the great work and my prayer is that God continues to give you more, more, more, more and more wisdom and knowledge. May God continue to bless you so you can continue to be a blessing to someone else! Hope you get some well deserved rest and we look forward to the next one. Be blessed!
