I TOLD YOU SO... LOL

You know I'm grinning from ear to ear right now.

Thank you so much for going to see GOOD DEEDS this weekend.

I knew you would love this movie, so if I may say I told you so, I TOLD YOU SO…LOL. I have been reading all the messages on the message board. Many of you said it's my best film, most of you thought it was excellent and all of you seemed to have really enjoyed it. This is movie number 13 for me, can you believe that? And you’re still coming :)

I must say I was a little nervous. This movie is way different for me, and for it to be a dramatic film I was a little unsure if you would come out to see it. I never ever take for granted that you are going to show up... but you did. And again, I’m thankful. The #2 movie is worth so much celebration, especially if you knew the behind-the-scenes drama I've been dealing with. But that’s another story and I refuse to dwell on the negative.

So, on behalf of me and all of us at Tyler Perry Studios, we just want to say thank you for going out to the movies and keeping our voice strong.

Thank you so much!

GOOD DEEDS, in theaters now.

Tyler

Hi Tyler, I loved the movie. I must've cried through the whole play. From the beginning i related to the mother. Thankfully i haven't been in her shoes, but as a single parent of three children and 10 years later from a Divorce, we have seen some rocky times and i was sitting there thinking, how blessed i really am to have not had a day where we couldn't eat or couldn't pay a bill... But it really had me thinking, how would i handle things if I was in that situation, (hence the tears) You are truly an amazing artist and GIFY to the WORLD. May y ou continue to use the gift, God has blessed you with to be a blessing to us. I pray your strenght and contined peace of mind as you continue to walk out everything the Gracious Lord has put in your heart. A faithful fan for life. Agape!!!!

Just saw Good Deeds today - I just read your email after I saw the movie and just realized this was your 13th movie - I had to laugh to myself because ironically the theatre your movie was playing in was "13" and I sat in seat "13" - (BTW, I was born on the 13th and that is my favorite number LOL) GREAT MOVIE!!!!! A++++ I know that when I see any of your movies the audience will never be disappointed. Keep up the great work! God Bless!! ;)

The movie deeply touched my heart- and at times - I found tears streaming down my face. I felt as though the movie allowed me to revisit an area of my life which took a couple of years to heal, and at the same time, allowed me to actually experience a sense of closure in another area of my life. I’m really glad about that and I thank God for healing! There were so many different aspects of the movie that was so dramatic – but true and I was able to identify! I would like to say that all of the cast members made the movie seemed so very real! Please accept my standing ovation to all of the GOOD DEEDS cast members whom diligently brought the characters to the big screen, and made the movie seemed so real! Congratulations!

Hey Tyler, LOL.... I went to see the movies again today. Yeah a b*** much...lol. I went this past Saturday and but I didn't get the full affect of the movie because it was SOLD OUT. So therefore it was pack when I was watching it. The first time I cried and the second time I got the full affect of the movie and cried again. I can watch your movies and plays over and over again. You are an amazing writer. You can really put your feelings and thoughts out there on screen. As Virgos we like to put that good feel in a person hearts and you did just that. We are both Virgos and I feel like we are BFF in my thoughts...lol. Job Well Done....

Well done Tyler. You did it this time. I know I will go back and back and back to see your movie again. Each time there is new revelation. It show me a lot of me. Always there for someone else and no time for me. I really was blessed with the message I received for the movie. I have made a choice to follow my heart and be happy. We can't save the entire world while traveling this journey. But one thing we can leave is a GREAT IMPRESSION. You are doing just that. Thank you for showing me myself. Since watching the movie, I have started to plan for myself. Relationship is very important. It has order, God first, You next, then you can have a healthy relationship with others. I must say this was the BEST.

Hello Mr. Tyler Perry, I am 13 years old and I saw your movie today. I must say that I love anything that you do. All the plays and movies that you've done. I love how any situation that a person have to deal with and turn it into something all people can enjoy( beside spike lee) hint... hint... during this movie I laughed, my heart sunk when I saw you cry, and how the mother and daughter struggle to survive a bit upset at how Brian White's charater behaved the whole movie. :) but that's just the great gift that you are blessed with. I hope that God continue to bless you, to bless others.

Tyler, I didn't think I was going to like the film because I perceived it to be a chick flick but I will say that you got me hook, line and sinker. Never stop being you and do it from your heart. Praying for your growth brutha!
