When God Asks A Question

I just wrote this to a very dear friend of mine that is going through a tough time. I thought I'd share it with you too.

When I read the bible, I love when God asks a question. He doesn't ask for Himself. He already knows the answer. He asks us because he wants us to understand and get it.

He asked Adam, "Where art thou?" Sometimes we don't realize where we are in life and it takes the voice of God to remind us.

He asked Moses, "What is that that you have in your hand?" Many times the very blessing we need is already in our grasp.

He asked Malachi, "Will a man rob God?" It's so easy to give our time to everything but the work of The Lord.

He asked Ezekiel, "Can these bones live?" Sometimes you may think a situation in your life has died, but God is reminding you that it can live. It's not dead. It's not over.

He asked a lame man, "Wilt thou be made whole?" God already knows He has the power to deliver you but you need to want to be delivered.

He asked Abraham, "Is there anything too hard for God?"

Think about that as you're going through life. I don't care what it looks like. There is nothing too hard for God to do.

Praying for you today. Your friend and brother,

In the bible God did ask will a man rob GOD and he said that he was getting robbed with tithes and offerings. Well I am going to ask the question who is robbing me? I have one bank account that i use and someone has robbed my bank account. I pulled up my statement and my statement has charges on there that did not come from me. I mean they robbed me where I did not have one red penny in my account. I sometimes feel like America needs to go straight to hell. I have a mount moriah police station in my neighborhood and I went to them about my bank account and all they are doing is giving me the run around. I think that police officers are the real criminals. The only way they get criminals is because they are criminals themselves. I feel like some of them need to go straight to the state pen. They always want money. It is like there is no end to them giving me traffic tickets. All of mine got paid but when I went to those crooked police offiers in Memphis to ask for help about my bank account they would not help me. That whole entire system got a h*** call from me. I will never again pay a traffic ticket or be for them in any kind of way. Memphis whole entire police system can go straigt to hell. The one thing that I do know is that they cannot take GOD it is like they don't know GOD at all. Have a nice day!

Hello TP, more grease to your elbows. I love your spirit, you are truly talented and blessed. As woman of strong faith, I was concerned with the g** character in "the haves and the haves not", but I must confess that I was very sorry for him and understand Veronica' s (his mom's) dilemma. I am glad your play is addressing an issue that tears us apart, especially in our Faith. I know of g** people that have strong faith, yet our religion strongly prohibits it. Personally I think being g** is a struggle that one must overcome like all other struggles like drinking, smoking or other vices, yet I acknowledge that some people have tried their best and just ,may be cannot overcome this issue. I look forward to how it will be resolved in the have's and have not" I pray the good lord will give you strength and wisdom to address this properly and in a way that pleases God. I love you TP and I thank God for you.

What if you don't know the question that God is asking of you. Because there is so much that's being asked of you. It's hard to do it all and overwelming to think of the journey ahead. I know you're going to say don't give up but that's really hard right now. Thanks T.P.

Hello, Tyler. I've posted many comments, hoping you'd read them. I' m a woman of great faith and I'm posting another one. I'm a gifted string artist, and in 2008, Bishop Paul and Debra Morton bought a portrait of yours I made with strings and gave to you. My name and number are written on the back. I'm a gifted aspiring writer, and God promised to open doors for me to make movies. I've written 15 original screenplays including family animated like the LION KING, inspirational and historical fictions. I'm from Nigeria, and my background and experiences make my scripts unique and exotic. People are hungry for exotic stories, and not the same old. I'm MADEA'S FAN, and I couldn't resist writing a screenplay for her. It's 106 pages, and when you see it, you'll be impressed. I also wrote two episodes of FOR BETTER OR WORSE that are simply riveting. I say with humility, yet confidence that when you see my scripts, you'd want me on your team. Thank you.

I would first like to say that you are one of the most inspirational black men that I know of  My name is Tyesha T. Peak I am a 25 year old woman that has had her trials and tribulations as I am sure we all have had. I have been homeless in a time in my life and I have had the biggest dream since the age of 12 years old. I want to know and try and receive help to make this dream a reality. There are a lot of shelters in the city of Atlanta but not many that treat individuals that have come across hard times with a sense of dignity. They do provide shelter temporarily but they do not provide the means for an individual to better ones self so that the possibilities of homelessness become limited not increasing. I want to open a shelter where I can add rehab and GED and high school diplomas for those who do not have education. Also credit counseling for those who have poor credit in addition to providing employment to those who have experience in this nature of work. I am aware that you are and influetional man and also a person who has experienced a deal of heart ache your self. This has been a dream that I have been holding onto for quite some time .Any help that you could provide I would appreciate with the deepest of my soul. Thanks for even reading this.  My home phone or cell is . Thank you so much.
