When God Asks A Question

I just wrote this to a very dear friend of mine that is going through a tough time. I thought I'd share it with you too.

When I read the bible, I love when God asks a question. He doesn't ask for Himself. He already knows the answer. He asks us because he wants us to understand and get it.

He asked Adam, "Where art thou?" Sometimes we don't realize where we are in life and it takes the voice of God to remind us.

He asked Moses, "What is that that you have in your hand?" Many times the very blessing we need is already in our grasp.

He asked Malachi, "Will a man rob God?" It's so easy to give our time to everything but the work of The Lord.

He asked Ezekiel, "Can these bones live?" Sometimes you may think a situation in your life has died, but God is reminding you that it can live. It's not dead. It's not over.

He asked a lame man, "Wilt thou be made whole?" God already knows He has the power to deliver you but you need to want to be delivered.

He asked Abraham, "Is there anything too hard for God?"

Think about that as you're going through life. I don't care what it looks like. There is nothing too hard for God to do.

Praying for you today. Your friend and brother,

I have always been known for being a incredibly strong women in life and in faith. Never submitting to being the victim. After many years I had started to fill and grow tired of the cruelty in the world. Thanks for reminding me that there is also such goodness and love. Blessing my friend and brother. Renee.

Heyy Tyler!, Believe me when I say... I UNDERSTAND how MAGNIFICENT OUR GOD IS and YOU ARE RIGHT!, NOTHING is too big for HIM. I also understand that we are not on our time....yes, it's HIS time and everything has a time and place "to be moved" and NOTHING moves without HIM. I do not know if it's because I'm a little sleepy but I was a little confused by your message :-). I am 4real, but I kind of get what you are saying. I just chopped it up as to put it in his hands and have FAITH that he will be there for you (us). Idk.. something like that, huh?! I ALWAYS put things in his hands because that's the only way I can keep a CLEAR MIND. Well, Im happy that you are praying for US because THIS SISTER NEEDs A LOT of PRAYER!! See Ya!!! MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU and KEEP YOU SAFE EACH and EVERYDAY!!! SMIIIIILLLLLEEEEE :-)))))))!!!

This is so on time and I truly believe that it's not by chance but by God. As I was sending an email to my estranged husband, filling him in on our daughter's first day of pre-school, wondering if I should just give up on marriage and on my husband being a godly father to our child, I get this message: reminding me that it won't always be like this. God is working it out behind the scenes and that if I hold my peace and abide in Him, I will reap the harvest. Thank you, Tyler!

Tyler this came right on time for me. The question 'Is there anything to hard for God?' Hits home to me. I have been having a rough time in my life as my boyfriend of many years/ father of my two young boys passed away last month suddenly. I have been stuggling to keep myself together in front of others and in front of my children. I have been praying for strength and guidance. I know that God is going to see us through this rough time. I continue to pray for my children, his family and myself. I know that nothing is to hard for him and he is working on us. As the song says, "I love the Lord. He heard my cry and pitied every groan. Long as I live and troubles rise. I'll hasten to His throne.'
