Good Morning Tyler. My sisters and I saw Alex Cross saturday. You played the role perfectly as some how I knew you would.I love Madea but in Alex Cross you showed the world how versatile you are.I feel you you can do anything you put your mind to do.My sisters and I are advent readers of James Patterson's books.I especially prefer the ones that feature Alex Cross. As I watched you playing Alex Cross,It was like I was reading one of the books, you captured him to a "T". Having said that,we didn't like the changes made to Alex Cross. He is based in D.C. as a detective on the D.C. police force. His partner is a big Black man named Samson, his first wife was killed in a drive by & his son is older than his daughter. We don't understand why the changes were made,to us they were drastic. We know you had nothing to do with this,we're just wondering why the changes. We did get over this and were able to enjoy the movie, mostly concentrating on you.Again you were superb & we can't wait for the sequel which judging by the ending of Alex Cross will be based in D.C. You will always have my support.May God continue to shower you with his blessings.

Good Morning Tyler, I am a huge fan of Madea! I didn't like the last Madea movie but, I still love and believe in you. I have seen all of your movies. "Good Deeds" was a different Tyler Perry. (My favorite so far) This Tyler was warm, loving, and sensual. It wasn't a far leap from the other dramatic characters you've played. However, "Alex Cross" was a totally different character and I LOVED HIM! I loved all of the facets of Alex Cross. You did the d*** thang! Didn't know you had it in you to be an action character. Your portrayal of a forensic Dr. and a detective was a perfect fit for you. YOU WERE BELIEVABLE! I know you had something to do with Cicely Tyson portraying your mother. You both performed excellently as mother and son. So Tyler continue to move forward in this realm. I will always support your projects! Because you support and love your community! May God continue to bless you and your endeavors.

U are a man of many talents and gifts. There have been some ignorant comments made in response to your character Alex Cross and I am offended. I applaud you for challenging yourself to be outside of the box. It works for you!!! I am excited to see what's next! I am trusting and believing God with you for all that is to come. And for the ignorant opinions put out there I say to you thank you for being the good guy on screen! Taking on the role of an intelligent detective with a PhD that represents an educated black man active in his community and at home as an active father and husband and having an active relationship with his mother.....THANK U!!!! KEEP PRESSING FORWARD!!!!

Hello Tyler! I went to see "Alex Cross" this past Saturday. All I can say, is that you nailed that role! I loved it! You are multi-talented; and I can understand that a gifted man such as yourself "testing the waters" for excellence. Talented people cannot do the same things over and over again -- and not want to do something different. It just does not work that way. I am very happy to see you venturing out with your talent. I wish you much more continued successes! Godspeed..... Tonya

Good morning Tyler, I went to see Alex Cross yesterday and was throughly entertained. I thought your acting was superb and I found the movie was very good. The main thing I LOVED about this movie is that you stayed true to yourself. You didn't cuss!! Not four letter word came out of your month. I really appreciated that. Thank, you thank you thank you for a very exciting and entertaining movie. I'm telling all my friends that didn't see it this weekend to see it as as soon as possible!!

Tyler, saw you on Piers Morgan tonight. Very well done. Good interview. If you like Patterson, perhaps you could convince John Grisham to allow you to produce his novel, "A Painted House". John Grisham was born in LA, moved with his family to Mississippi. And the rest is history. Food for thought. Think about it. Best wishes, Capt. John

Looks like a real thriller combined with a psyco-drama. It is in the same genre' that I love to write in. At his home in Havana over dinner, Ernest Hemingway was once asked by a young boy, age 10, "How do you write a book?" His reply was that "you take everything you know, everything you have seen, and everything you have done. Then you write it as though you are telling a story to a young child." Tyler, your film reminds me of what Hemingway told that young boy that night. His father was a news reporter from Baton Rouge, LA. Keep up the excellent work! Best wishes, Capt. John
