Description:

A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds (Tyler Perry) has always done what's expected of him, whether it's assuming the helm of his father's company, tolerating his brother's misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancee, Natalie (Gabrielle Union). But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works as a cleaning person in his office building. Outspoken, impulsive and proud- and also recently evicted- Lindsey struggles to make ends meet for herself and her young daughter. But when Wesley offers to help her get back on her feet, his innocent good deed ignites and unexpected attraction- and suddenly Wesley finds himself caught between the life he thought he wanted and the powerful desires of his heartÂ….

A moving, uplifting romantic drama about relationships and the defining choices we make in our lives, 'Tyler Perry's Good Deeds' is written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry, and stars Perry, Thandie Newton, Brian White, Rebecca Romijn, Jamie Kennedy, Eddie Cibrian, Jordenn Thompson, Beverly Johnson, with Phylicia Rashad, and Gabrielle Union.

Over and over again. Don't make me sing that song..lol! Wesley is sweeping my little heart away Tyler. I bet you didn't know that :). I saw him on FB today speaking and it amazes me that he yet lives so in the moment with me still, and he still speaks! That makes me speechless. And like the post below me, I feel me on that airplane, one with the sunset, segueing right into the starlight, landing smoothly in the middle of my dream. There is just too much that was right about this movie for me. And to hear this movie continuing to speak; it's got me "sailing, taking me away to where I'm going... (do,do,do)". Thank you for making my dream come true, letting Wesley & Good Deeds go on & on & on! Tell him for me; tell him that I love him.

When I like something a lot I tend to overindulge in it. My heart races and I become one with it, within it , and I get these goose bumps and I start saying " umpth" a few times. Then I cry! I cry because IT has stirred my life and I feel the artist, in his moment. I don't go to this place often with movies . I went there tonight. I was there and I got to be on that airplane with Mr Deeds. And that is the journey that movies should take us on. Movies are suppose to create magic, excite us , and enchant us. I WENT THERE !!!! Thank You So Much

Wesley Deeds! I'll share with you some of my favorite moments :) Wesley and Lindsey sitting at the table; I can watch it a thousand times. His demeanor when he tells Lindsey "oh you got jokes....and you're funny too" just makes me blush, every time! And that little smile with his tongue lodged between his teeth when he's describing her "meanness", which she calls "being straightforward"....that. Believe it or not, I love the interaction they have when he is motioning for her to roll down the window. Quirky I know, but I love studying Wesley Deeds's demeanor. The man intrigues me. Studying Wesley Deeds was probably my favorite part of the movie, trying to catch a glimpse of the real Tyler Perry. He intrigued me first! I keep watching it too :) You are a highly intriguing individual. Wesley told on you...lol

I fell in love, I regained hope that one day I will have my very own husband. Getting older just turned 44, Feb, 27. I really enjoyed this movie because everybody had agenda, but the house cleaner had great difficulties and while someone was following in love with get, she had to embrace humility, perseverance, a smile through years, homelessness, oh God, it hurts, to be streched. I'm looking forward to the end of my storm, I'm looking to be loved, enjoyed, I shall have something to offer. Amen

Is it possible to find out the name of the artist that did a number of paintings featured in your Good Deeds movie? They were fairly large multi colored with a 'plaid-ish' motion I have tried without luck. Thanking you in advance

Thank you so much for this wonderful movie! I look forward to seeing many more like this that bring to light issues such as this. Shame on us as a nation for what we have not done for these deserving people. I am in the process of researching organizations that assist single parent mothers and fathers which are or have been part of the military and are in need of some help to get back on their feet. In creating this movie, I would appreciate your sharing the names of the organizations that you encountered. Thank you again for such a thought provoking movie!

Why can't there be more movies like this, or people doing good deeds. I'm off to do some good deeds.

I wanted to see this movie when it was freshly out, but it didn't happen. I just watched it twice in a day. It's light and very moving. Did you ever get to actually make it to Africa ) I am West African that's why) and dig wells?

I am always touched by story's, what it teaches as a person. I came from a country where people careless about other, they think about themselves alone, greed, self centered and arrogant. My heart bleeds when I see how we treat each other. How I wish the whole will be just like you, with good heart and fear of God. May the good lord continue to uplift and bless you.
