Description:

A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds (Tyler Perry) has always done what's expected of him, whether it's assuming the helm of his father's company, tolerating his brother's misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancee, Natalie (Gabrielle Union). But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works as a cleaning person in his office building. Outspoken, impulsive and proud- and also recently evicted- Lindsey struggles to make ends meet for herself and her young daughter. But when Wesley offers to help her get back on her feet, his innocent good deed ignites and unexpected attraction- and suddenly Wesley finds himself caught between the life he thought he wanted and the powerful desires of his heartÂ….

A moving, uplifting romantic drama about relationships and the defining choices we make in our lives, 'Tyler Perry's Good Deeds' is written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry, and stars Perry, Thandie Newton, Brian White, Rebecca Romijn, Jamie Kennedy, Eddie Cibrian, Jordenn Thompson, Beverly Johnson, with Phylicia Rashad, and Gabrielle Union.

I watched Good Deeds for the first time yesterday. I've seen most of your movies and I especially enjoyed this one with you portraying Wesley. I'm not ashamed to say I cried through several parts of the movie. I think the thing that touched me most was the fact that Wesley finally realized that it was ok to live his own life and be happy doing what brings him joy. The movie hit home in so many ways... I have spent my whole life doing what others have expected of me. It takes great courage to change this sort of life long conditioning. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful movies! You are truly blessed! Keep up the good job...

Peace and Blessings be upon you... This is the most real movie I have seen in years, I love it. It made me laugh, cry and ponder. I have been a single, homeless mother before and I felt the pain all over again when I watched this movie. When I sit back in my new little apartment with my kids I thank ALLAH for giving me the strength to get through. In Aug. it will be one year ago that I was homeless, no job and sick, just getting out of an abusive marriage. Ya ALLAH, thank you for making this movie! I would love to meet Tyler and tell him some of my stories, people tell me all the time I should write a book. Nur

I can't wait to get the movie. I didn't go see it because I am a big baby. All of Tyler's movies really hit home. I have lived a hurtful life and I'm only 16. I just love, love, love Tyler's movies. A big reason is because when I watch them it reminds me that I'm not the only one out there that has lived a crazy life. I just want to say thank you a million times.

Tyler, I have been following you for the past 6 years now... I have lost both parents in a year and life has been very hard...raising two little kids. Watching your film was very heart breaking...for in this little kid called Ariel, I could see my girls....in the sense that I felt huge fear what will happen to them if I was not here to take care of them.... Your acting is beyond praise....it was more than amazing....In this man Mr Deeds I could see you....the real you..and it was so touching. God Bless you. Am very emotional while writing this.

Tyler...c'mon. I love your movies & plays...I run to the movies and see them on the 1st weekend that they come out,I also purchase them when they come out. But now I need to make a decision to see the movie at the theatre...or just wait and purchase when it hit the stores. Tyler your movies are getting very pricey. I just purchased Good Deeds from Walmart $16.96 really Tyler. You've already made millions at the Movies. Give us a break..the economy is still bad, each movie is getting highet. What you are doing is keeping the boot+legger in business.

I thought the movie was brilliant about how we sometimes put on a show instead of living the best life we can live. I think in Wesleys character -it does not always mean that you need to have money or power to do a good deed...it is within. sometimes we live fake lives to fit in,just to get married because everyone else does it...so there are so many dimensions to htis movie-loved it ..by the way everyone is crazy back in SA about yur dancing scene!!!!My family especially!
