A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds (Tyler Perry) has always done what's expected of him, whether it's assuming the helm of his father's company, tolerating his brother's misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancee, Natalie (Gabrielle Union). But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works as a cleaning person in his office building. Outspoken, impulsive and proud- and also recently evicted- Lindsey struggles to make ends meet for herself and her young daughter. But when Wesley offers to help her get back on her feet, his innocent good deed ignites and unexpected attraction- and suddenly Wesley finds himself caught between the life he thought he wanted and the powerful desires of his heartÂ….

Yes! Good Deeds will now be out on June 12th and I am so very excited. I went to see Good Deeds 6, yes 6 times while it was in the Theaters here in Dallas,Tx. Lol... Good Deeds was a much needed movie for the times we live in. Lots of ppl would say they have never seen u in that way but I beg the difference! Every part u have played in your movies have been thoughtful, helpful, beautiful etc... In Diary of a Mad Black Woman, u played the lawyer, single father to two kids, etc... Sharing w/ us that men loves just as hard as women do. Besides, when I think of u & how u know all this stuff to say & do in these movies & plays be it Madea, Brian, Joe, You Yourself, It 1st kinda scary that a man would know so much -be so well rounded & look good & from Louisiana & funny & caring & touchable, just to name a few its more than special! Lol... That says, there has to be a God somewhere. Lol... :) I'm say it one time, "you have my attention!" What u gonna do with it is what I really wanna know? Always do you. :) Have a good one. I'm so happy I can now own Good Deeds on DVD, which I know every part like the back of my hand now. It's still all GOOD! ;-)

This movie I would pay to see over and over again. The day I went to see Good Deed is the day that I fell in love with Tyler Perry "The Man" not the actor, nor Medea but Tyler Perry himself. Why? You ask. Well he showed me a side of him that I've never seen before on screen. There was so much about him in this movie that brought tears to my eyes and not only showed me him but also... oh never mind you don't have time to read all this so, I'll just say GREAT MOVIE Tyler.

Good Deeds was by far the best movie I've seen this year! I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was real life, inspiring, magical, comical, and so romantic! It dealt with so many situations; like the repercussions of being an alcoholic, lack of funds to support your family, hard times after the loss of a loved one, controlling parents, not living your own dreams, extending help to those in need and finding yourself in the interim, and last but not least, stepping out on faith. I loved that movie because I could relate. I believe in miracles! I believe that God created someone just for me! Thanks, Tyler! You gave me hope. I applaud you because this is your best movie yet!

I just recently watched the movie "Good Deeds" and i absoutely loved it even though it was a bit corny. I have watched other movies directed by you and my absolute favourites are the ones about Madea. But this movie here has a different twist because it really depicts what a lonely person goes through for someone who is at the stage of thinking that he or she needs to settle down. This is someone who believed and made others believe that marriage was never going to happen but then suddenly is realizing that the idea of getting married and having a partner is not all that bad. I could be wrong but I believe that the movie illustrates alot of you and the feelings that you are going through. If it does then I can understand why you are the main character in the movie but it would have been better to have someone else play the lead because you being the lead made it too obvious.
