Description:

Sparks fly when Wade Walker (Craig Robinson) crashes the preppy Peeples annual reunion in the Hamptons to ask for their precious daughter Grace's (Kerry Washington) hand in marriage. Wade might be a fish-out-of-water among this seemingly perfect East Coast clan, but he's not about to let himself flounder. Instead, in a wild weekend of fun, dysfunction and hilarious surprises, Wade is about to discover there's more room for all kinds of Peeples in this family, no matter their differences. Writer and first-time director Tina Gordon Chism (writer of DRUMLINE) joins forces with Tyler Perry to present a laugh-out-loud look at the family ties that freak us out... but bind us together with love.

Dear Mr. Perry, first of all I offer my sympathy on the death of your Mother...be assured of my pryers. I am writing to share a brief story about my great-great grandniece, A'Zariah. She will be celebrating her 5th birthday on May 14. She was born with full blown sickle cell. The first two months of her life she receiver blood transfusions every week. As she has gotten older, she is able to let us know of her pain/fatigue. When she is resting, in bed or on the couch, she request to see Madea. She thinks Madea is Tyler's mother... Her dream and desire is to see Madea (but if this is not possible) a phone call on her birthday would be one of the highlights of her life. I do not want her to have the "Make A Wish" when she is too sick/weak to enjoy it. You see, as she gets older she will experience more pain in her joints and be more tired. I have prepared her with some studies (similar to home schooling) so she will not fall behind in school as she could miss 2-3 days of school when in a pain crisis. Would you please consider having Madea call my "baby girl"? The number is Hannie Brown's number...her great-grandmother any time after 4:00 p.m. pn May 14, 2013. One other request, and I am really risking here...have her do an interview with Madea. She will have you in stitches because she loves the woman so much. I think Madea is one of idols. When she was 2-3 yrs old she would fuss with Madea and give hearty laughs over silly things Madea did and said. Thank you for all you do to build pride and self esteem in all peoples but especially our people. God bless you real good Mr. Perry and Thank you Marilyn Cowser 414/546/6307 (home #)

God Bless you Tyler. You are forever giving back to others and I must say those who are critical of you have no idea of the time and effort you put into making other people lives better. That in itself is worth more than any movie you make. Regardless of what people think about your movies or if they are predictable, as most movies are anyway today, you are truly an inspiration and your fan base will always be here for you. Love and can't wait to see Peeples to support this new talent you are opening the door for.

Hello Tyler, I just wanted to leave a message about your movie Temptation. WOW!!! I think from the very beginning I was on edge. In all your productions there is always ministry. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts and talents with the world. Beyond all the movies, televisions show and many other creative things you do its very encouraging to see GOD's faithfulness. I remember your interview a couple of years ago and I remember you stating at one point in your life you were homeless, but look at what GOD has done! I love to see you proclaim JESUS to the world through your work. Your life is a testimony that GOD is faithful and able despite adversity and hard times. Thank you , thank you and continue in the blessing of GOD. One day I'm looking forward to meeting you :)

Thanks for the heads up! We will be going! I'm even more excited because we were extras along with most Georgian in Drumline! Its fun to see yourself on with celebrities that's famous... Its good to know you have help keeping her moving forward! Oprah has taught everybody well; its OK to help others! There's room for others.

I think it is commendable that Mr. Perry aided a brillient new talent in expressing their creativity. I have followed Mr. Perry's career since I first viewed his Medea DVD at a shop on 125th St. in Harlem. I have seen most of his live plays at New York's Beacon theter. I consider Mr. Perry a one man Hollywood. He has assisted a vast number of artist in their craft as well as those who are well established. He has allowed many in the arts to express themselves creatively. For that I commend him!
