Description:

The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.

A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

Tyler...what can I say? I loved your latest movie "Temptation". It really hit home for me. I was the one that was cheated on...not once, not twice, not three times but so many times I don't even think my husband knows. What really struck me in the movie is even though "Brice" loved "Judith" with all his heart, their relationship didn't survive her infidelity. Sometimes I wish that I was strong enough to leave. I know that I am not the only one that has been cheated on. This happened to me years ago but the hurt is still as fresh as if it happened yesterday. I am a Christian woman and I believe in forgiveness...that is why I'm still in this relationship. I'm not sure if it is the right thing to do though. Maybe I should leave...I don't know. I'm sorry for pouring out my heart on your message board. Again, thank you for sharing your God given gift with me. I believe that you are a servant of God and that He is using you to touch hearts as well as entertain. Thank you and please keep up the good work!

You Slam Dunked This! Temptation is Off The Chizzz--ain! At the end of the movie I was completely speechless. As I was leaving the theater, I felt myself welling up with tears; not for the characters or the subject matter, but in praise of God for what He has done through you! I reached my car and my hands went up in the air and I had to take a serious Praise Break! I have to say, this one nailed it! NAILED IT! Tyler Perry, I am so very proud of you! This was one of the Best movies I have seen in a very long time and I heard similar sentiments from various cultures and various ages throughout the theater as they were leaving. Congratulations! With that said, sharing the message I received from it. It is so important that we, Christian people, find out what is lacking in our marriages that causing a 70% divorce rate. We know that as the God-given head of the family, men have a huge responsibility, but God has never left them alone to do it on their own. The mistakes here were made when their relationship with God was not cultivated. When problems arose, they did not seek God for answers. When all seemed loss, they did not get council from God how to work it out. That 3-Fold cord is so important. It was so obvious and yet so understandable how easily He was left out of the equation. This happens everyday. Life! I pray that every couple sees this movie, and especially husbands. Just like the serpent went after Eve in the garden, (your logo), if the husband, the head, is not in tuned with what is going on, God who sees all, is right there to help you, but we must keep that line of communication with Him OPEN! Thank you Tyler! God Bless You!

I have seem most of your television shows, plays and movies. The major concentration of them is about the pain of women with a minor concentration on the pain of men. How about a story centered around the pain of a man. I have written such a story I would like to relate to you. Would love to hear from you.
