The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.

A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

My dearest Mr. Perry... I can not convey to you just how much you thrill me with all of the works that you touch and bring forth. They are ALL A revelation that's such an inspiration to all who behold them!! I am so ready to see this movie that I bet I've watched the clips a hundred times or more to see what else will be revealed. I would love to meet the great man that is like a GIFT that KEEPS ON GIVING!! Every time I see 1 of your movies I wonder "now there's no way he can top this one...can he"? And you do exactly that with the next movie you churn out! I'm still hanging on the edge of my seat from the "Why Did I Get Married?" sequels wondering how that will play out, & here you go getting me started on another wild wonder. You are truly a blessed man...& I thank GOD for all the life lessons that you share with us all (especially those of us w/o a grandmother to give pearls of wisdom.) I just have 1 favour... Is it possible for a 40- something single mom to meet you some day? Lol Thanks for considering it. Whether it's a yes or no. ;-) I LOVE YOU ANYWAY!

After being married for some time now (21 yrs), I have learnt that both parterns are to blame in how the marriage starts and shall end. The marriage vows state: To death do us part. Some couples believe that once unhappiness set in, it bring death into the marrigae but I'm here to said there is hope. With the guadince from Tyle Perry ; which he is doing a great job at with giving us truth there can still be struggles in marrige and here is another option to try. Its a book that we ( me and my husband ) are studying from in a marriage builders class we attend called " His Needs Her Needs " by Willard F. Harley, Jr... Mr. Perry is there to show you what can happen and Mr. Harley Jr. has written ways on how to prevent things from occurring. Enjoy the movie for I know we will. God Bless Tyler !

Well it seems as if this always happens, but man express themselves differently. Its time for man to appreciate their ladies, the little things counts a lot for us, we don't need much to be pleased. At the end of the day we tend to ignore one another. I don't know what went wrong but we bring this to ourselves i hope we get a solution one day. Your next movie should be "Thousand ways to please a Woman" it will be a heat. Thanks for your good movies!!!!!

God is definitely using you to your full potential and I thank God for individuals like yourself, that make someone like me crawl out of my depression from recently losing my husband, and know that there is still something in this world that I can do for others. I do know the Lord and without His grace and mercy I wouldn't have been able to go through all the challenges that I have since late 2011, when my dear hubby passed. I've followed all your plays and am constantly checking your site for more plays and films. Your messages are very well put together for those that might not know the Lord yet and I feel this is a good thing for those that need His unfailing grace.I for one rewatch your collection over and over just to hear the lessons again and again. I hope and pray that one day I may meet you face to face or get to Atlanta, to see a playclose up. You're always in my prayers and I feel blessed to read about what God has done for you and what you are "paying forward''. Keep on bringing those great testimonies and Madea's lessons for those of us, needing a witness or being reblessed by the words you give Madea and her clan. Also before I forget it, keep up the great works like Good Deeds and Alex Cross. May God always richly bless you.

I think its going to be awesome and educational. I can't wait to see it! May God contine to Bless you with talent and that great sense of humor. I have been with my husband for most of my adult life. I personally feel that if you feel there's something missing in your marriage, you can fill that void with your spouse. It takes two to make it work. " But you must communicate with one another."

This movie looks like it is going to be the bomb! Can't wait to see it.

I can' t wait to see this movie. I have been married twice and have been separated for over a year from my second husband. Marriage is a lot of work so Don't get married if you are lazy because it take two willing hearts to work for each other. If you are not happy with your marriage be honest with your spouse. It will hurt but cheating hurts worse. If you both are truly happy cheating is not an options.Much love Mr. Perry
