The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.

A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

After watching the trailer I immediately sent a blast out to several of my girls so that we can begin planning a Girl's Night Out. I have always loved Jurnee Smollet and she has grown into a beautiful mature young woman. I'm looking forward to the Spring of 2013.

As a fellow writer that looks up to you and has followed your works...stood in line for EVERY single movie/play you have ever made...It breaks my heart to not support this one. I can not support Kim Kardashian in any way. She and her family exploit relationships that they have with the Black community. Now she's in your films too. I love you.

They are ALL A revelation that's such an inspiration to all who behold them!! I am so ready to see this movie that I bet I've watched the clips a hundred times or more to see what else will be revealed. I would love to meet the great man that is like a GIFT that KEEPS ON GIVING!! Every time I see 1 of your movies I wonder "now there's no way he can top this one...can he"? And you do exactly that with the next movie you churn out! I'm still hanging on the edge of my seat from the "Why Did I Get Married?" sequels wondering how that will play out, & here you go getting me started on another wild wonder. You are truly a blessed man...& I thank GOD for all the life lessons that you share with us all (especially those of us w/o a grandmother to give pearls of wisdom.) I just have 1 favour... Is it possible for a 40- something single mom to meet you some day? Lol Thanks for considering it. Whether it's a yes or no. ;-) I LOVE YOU ANYWAY!

After being married for some time now (21 yrs), I have learnt that both parterns are to blame in how the marriage starts and shall end. The marriage vows state: To death do us part. Some couples believe that once unhappiness set in, it bring death into the marrigae but I'm here to said there is hope. With the guadince from Tyle Perry ; which he is doing a great job at with giving us truth there can still be struggles in marrige and here is another option to try. Its a book that we ( me and my husband ) are studying from in a marriage builders class we attend called " His Needs Her Needs " by Willard F. Harley, Jr... Mr. Perry is there to show you what can happen and Mr. Harley Jr. has written ways on how to prevent things from occurring. Enjoy the movie for I know we will. God Bless Tyler !

Well it seems as if this always happens, but man express themselves differently. Its time for man to appreciate their ladies, the little things counts a lot for us, we don't need much to be pleased. At the end of the day we tend to ignore one another. I don't know what went wrong but we bring this to ourselves i hope we get a solution one day. Your next movie should be "Thousand ways to please a Woman" it will be a heat. Thanks for your good movies!!!!!
