Description:
The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.
A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

Mr. Perry, another masterpiece with the movie temptation. I'm so amazed with your creatively and the actors that you chose for this movie. I especially appreciate and relate to the bibical aspect in the movie the sceen where the actress Brice finds Judith with Harley in a club type atmosphere reminds me of Genesis 19 regarding when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. I also have to give you praise with regards to the HIV issue which is currently highest amoung Africian Americans. I loved all of the actors but the number one A+ actors were Junee Smollett-Bell who played Judith, Lance Gross who played Brice, Robbie Jones who played Harley, and Brandy Norwood who played Melinda. Mr. Perry you are so awesome and may God continue to bless you and your wonderful staff. Mr. Perry you are blessing and your movies always leave a message for all of us and this movie reminds us that everything the glitters is not gold and to be thankful for what we have even though it might not be much but as long as you;re happy and have faith and God is in the mist of it nothing is impossible. Great Job Mr. Perry keep up the good work.

Mr. Perry I absolutely loved the movie! I really like how you make God a part of your movies, it really moved me. Please ignore all the haters. You keep making your fans happy by delivering great movies and plays. You give us clean, good, decent movies we can watch without all the filth, and cussing so many movies have today. It takes a lot to get me to go to the movies because their isn't anything I want to see now a days, way too much trash being put out. Your movies are the only ones that will get me in the theater! Good Job Mr. Perry! Keep up the good work.

Thanks Tyler...another great example of your brillence. It was so powerful, sad, sweet, and Godly. Your Judith was brillent and tragic.I'm so in love with Brice. He's everything a man should. I love the wonderful God fearing ,praying mother. She reminds of mine. God rest her soul. Brandy really shonee in this...fantasic. Kim was perfect for her...as was Vanessa. Your villian was as smooth and slick as satan himself. You out did yourself once again. Keep up the good work. Please used Lance Gross in everything....I adore him.

Tyler this movie was powerful!!! I seen the movie yesterday with four other people. Great movie we loved the movie, the cast was great and the acting was great. Lance, Brandy, Kim and Jurnee are some of my favorite actor and actress we have watch them grown up and they are doing a wonderful job. This new guy, the seducer, I have not seen him before but he did a Great job. What I would have like to have seen is Ella in the end and Jurnee relationship repaired and the therapist in the end being Jurnee. But I loved it and I can't wait to add to my Tyler Perry Collection.

I saw the movie today and was enjoying it, especially, the twist with Brandy's character. BUT THEN, all of that was blown to bits with the last 5 minutes of the movie. Why couldn't you have left well enough alone. The ending wasn't believable because you wanted the moviegoer to be so impacted by the moral lesson that it screwed up the ending. You went too far by changing the actors. Brandy's character remained/looked the same but you want the moviegoer to believe the new actress was the old Judith. People change but did she have to become a sad, bible-toting spinster. And why was it necessary to age Judith's husband so much. Fire the makeup artist who did his makeup - they did a horrible job. I felt like the movie never reached it's true ending.
