Description:
The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake.
A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. "It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life," explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. "She goes on a journey - in her career and in her marriage - and she ends up in a very different place than she expected." In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire - and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. "This is definitely one of the most provocative movies - sexually and otherwise - that I've made," says the director. "There are a lot people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they're doing. This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

Oh my Mr. Perry! This movie perfectly resembled the reflection of many relationships of yesterday, today and even tomorrow. I was literally on the edge of my Seat with this one. Relationships were exposed in a way like no other. What a phenomenal presentation! You ministered to many couples in this film, prayerfully they will take heed and realize the importance to resist "Temptation" and begin to appreciate the beauty of their marriage and if there is no excitement, create it. Everyone has played the role of steady one of the characters. This film was beyond entertainment, it was an inspiration! God has taken you to another level with this one Tyler. I'm anxious to see just how far and how high you are going to get. The needed this film. Thanks God for using your vessel. Superb job Mr. Perry. Be encouraged and keep them coming because your fans have spoken!

My, My So timely for such a time as we live in today.Everything in this movie was right on point. My husband and I enjoyed this movie last evening for our date night. So very timely, with keeping the marriage together. The story line was awesome,we understood every move that was made. LOVED IT!Oh I got so much to say I don't know where to start. I was so excited about seeing this movie.I believe from a spiritual standpoint, that this movie will touch those couples that are at the brink of breaking up because he or she has met someone that is telling them all they want to hear, this is not GOD's doing but the smoothe and sneaky move of the devil. But it is a seed planted, as soon as they open their mouth. Especially when they KNOW you are married and you have told them like Judith did over and over again. And he ignores it "He is the Devil."Incarnate. My husband and I were making all kinds of commits! to each other. I tell you Tyler this was by far a great movie. I got so much more to say. The only thing negative is Kim Kardashian's acting was not as natural, but that is to be expected. When we are in Christ as yourself,God will allow us to bring people with a lot of issues of life around that we may be a Beacon of light to them, and speak some real truth into her life that she may live. I tell you Tyler,I see TEMPTATIONS II, here. I see it! For Real. You may have left it open ended like this for a reason. I can help you. Just because Judith got HIV does not mean her life can not pick back up. Harley, did not die, and Brandy's character is still around. Oh and Brice ,boy did we love his character. In real life,he was with Judith since children, though he married someone else, he will always love Judith.God has already given you a Reward for the heart you wrote this in. Thanks for steppin out on God God Bless you.

Oh my. This movie will cause many people to take a good look at their life it surely cause me to look at mines. I am in a difficulit place right now, and this movie has open my eyes to whats really important in an relationship. Its so easy to get caught up especially when you don't feel appreciated. Please remember we as people don't need other people to validate our self worth. Its nice to get flowers on the job or to be surprise now and then . But self esteem, and God is all we need. Thank you Mr.Perry for reminding us whats important.

Hello Tyler. I saw Tempation last night and I did enjoy the movie. It was funny but had a serious message. You reminded us that some decisions have life-long consequences we could not have imagined. The characters were good and worked well together. Initially, I wondered why Kim K. Then I realized, you hired Kim to play herself because that's the type of character you needed. So, she played her part well. Smart move. Thank you for another good movie with a message we can all relate to.

Hi Tyler, Haven't seen the movie yet, becayuse I've been packing & moving for the fifth time in two years. I hope to see it on Sunday if God be willing & the creek don't rise. LoL. My mom use to say that, know you've heard that line before. I reviewed the live chat from Thursday' s hangout, because I had problems signing on, and missed the first 15-20 mins. It is always so amazing how insinc our values are. Like you I refuse to seperate from, or put anything above God, including my family, which is exactly why I having to seperate from them. Secondly, I love your tree people analogy, and unfortunate, I have no root people in my life. I had a bunch of leaves, who, blew me off, so I had to bag them up & put them to the curb. I had a few branches, but they left me hanging on the limb, so I had to prune them out of my life. Now I just have three main roots, that connects me to Goidd, Jesus,k and the Holy spirit. I wrote to you awhile back about writting for you, and I hope whowver reviews your messages passed it on to you. Debra Winger had her officer & gentleman, Julia Roberts had her knight in shinning armour, and Lindsay Wakefield had her Mr. Deeds. You think God might send me a Guardian angel? As I was putting all my stuff in a 10 x 10, looking at the last 15 years of my life crammed into a box, I couldn't help but wonder, when was this storm going to end? When will the sun shine in my life again? So as I closed the door to my storage unit, taking a leap of faith, trusting God to send someone to help me or give me an opportunity, All I can do is pray.

Please excuse the Typos. I had to send this from my smart phone. Here is a joke for you. If smart phones are so smart, why do we have to do all the work, LoL. I hope that the Holy spirit will move you to give me an opportunity, otherwise, I'll be living your past, out of my car and homeless. With much gratitude.

Just saw the movie it was good and very relevant to the time's in which we live. Just goes to show all that's gold don't glitter, the grass is not greener on the other side it just appears to be, has a lot mess in it, the devil is alive coming to rob, steal and kill. It's great you had a young adult cast. I will probably go to see again there are somethings missed just processing....but enjoyed and had great conversation after.
