Tyler I needed these words. I'm 23yrs old. Just transferred to another school to finish up my bachelors degree, and with that I have decided to move to Los Angeles, California upon graduation to begin and make a life for myself. I've had well-meaning people tell me that it's expensive to relocate and live in LA, but I have refused to allow that to make me doubt the decision that I have made to move in a couple of years. How I see it, why not me? God has opened numerous of doors for people who have moved from one state to the next, why would He stop at me? People relocate all the time and make it. I can have anything. My life and career will be in LA; my foundation is Christ alone, and with that I'm cool.
Mr. Perry, You inspire me to the upmost. I am certified plumber who has fallen down on his luck, due to the downturn in the economy, and the high amount of unemployed plumbers in Atlanta. Due to the lack of sufficient work, and my background history, I have not been able to find enough work to support my family, which made my work take a 2nd job. It is a blessing to have her. If there is the po.ssibility that you would even have a custodial job, or need someone to do general labor, inside or out, please e-mail at the address above. I am a good man,who would is in need of mentor, one like you, who stepped out faith, weathered the storm, and loves people. I really feel as the lord let me to step out on faith and send you this message. Danny Watkins Atlanta, Georgia
Danny, I was sitting here about to write something too and as I read your comment and thought or my situation I realize, we're not "down on our luck" we're in a place of doing something different but yet don't see the opportunity. For you it's janitorial, for me, I'd really like to act. I just can't afford the lessons, the management, etc. But, I do believe when we take small steps towards a goal we will obtain them. In this season of your life maybe you should consider thinking outside of the box. Instead of looking for work create it. Put yourself in position to become a custodial contractor. Research the requirements to become bonded and/or insured, get a business name & register it, etc. So, what do you do in the meantime? Network. If you are on unemployment see about Vocational Rehabilitation or taking a few courses in another area. The Dept. of Labor will pay for the tuition. You will, however, need to pay for books if there are any. Please forgive me if you have already done these things, but I felt in my spirit to encourage you. And... as I encourage you, I'm encouraging myself. If you believe that God's word is true then stand on it and in due season .. .if you don't pass out (give up)... you will reap a harvest of fruit and have seed to plant more. Be encouraged my brother!
I know that was a beautiful experience for you and the kids. It's amazing how many children today are still so humble and really appreciate the small simple things that people do for them. It's so many kids in this world that have so much that they just throw it somewhere and forget about it but I have seen it first hand when my organization sponsored a Christmas Party for the children at the shelter it touched my heart every time one of the children unwrapped a gift their little eyes just glisten with tears. We had food, desserts, stockings and a Santa to pass out the presents. When they walked in the hall was decorated and we had a beautiful tree they were scared and didn't want to eat or touch anything after we assured them it was all for them they went crazy screamed, played ate, open gifts, danced and sang Christmas carols I will never forget that experience. Take care of yourself and God Bless you.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For NO man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth & cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, & of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father & mother, & shall be joined unto his wife, & they 2 shall be 1 flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ & the church. NEVERTHELESS let every 1 of u in particular SO love his wife EVEN AS himself; & the wife see that she reverence her husband. Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord!: whose daughters Ye are, as long as Ye do WELL, & are NOT AFRAID w/ ANY AMAZEMENT. Likewise, Ye husbands, dwell w/ them ACCORDING to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the WEAKER VESSEL, & as being heirs TOGETHER of the grace OF life; that your prayers be not hindered. :-)
