Description:

Yes…the title is absolutely true. One lesson to learn in life: you can’t scorn a woman and think you’ve achieved an accomplishment. It never works out!

Anita Lincoln is a very successful, modern day, single woman living with all the luxury items available. She thrives in life having a great job and lots of friends. She also takes care of family, especially her younger sister, Mona, and Grandma Hattie. Mona has found true love and is getting married, totally funded by her sister, Anita.

But there is just one thing with Anita, she wants a loving man in her life to fill a void. That’s when Jasmine, her best friend and work associate, comes in. Jasmine takes it upon herself to “help” Anita find her man by matching her with someone on the internet. Randy is his name; shame is his game. But all that, of course, is unbeknownst to Anita at the time. He is very charming and loving and supposedly well-to-do.

On a trip to Las Vegas, Randy convinces Anita to marry him and the tides turn; Randy is in charge. But, beware of Randy! And be careful how you handle your business. A scorned woman takes no wooden nickels. Anita is appalled by the circumstances and determined to take her life back. The tides turn once again with Anita making sure Randy never……

The rest of the production is unpredictable and entertaining! Don’t miss Tyler Perry’s “Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned”!

My husband and I really enjoyed the play. I was very disappointed with the seating at the Wiltern. It was very conjested and uncomfortable. We also were disappointed that Madera didn't come and deal with that fool. Lol..... Awesome play Tyler!

The play was GREAT! I hate that the venue was so horrible. The Wiltern is old and needs to be remodeled! The chairs were very uncomfortable.

The play was very good and touched on extremely powerful messages. If I could change one thing, it would be the ending. It was much too abrupt. There was no closure for the audience. Cheryl's character should have shared her prision expierence with her pastor and the family.

I recently moved to Los Angeles from Atlanta. Oh, what a joy and a wonder you are, Mr. Perry, to have as a Black public figure in a day and age when good Black role models are very slim. I want to work in one of your plays, movies, or productions. I am an upcoming talk show host and we have a lot of the same story; in reference to childhood memories, homelessness; etc. I'm 24 years old and am looking to go higher. Please contact me and let's do God's work together. "Hell Hath No Fury" was simply amazing and funny to the point of not even wanting to go to the restroom. I appreciate you, Mr. Perry. We appreciate your contribution to Hollywood. www.jamescamper.com

Attended performance at the Wiltern in Los Angeles yesterday. My mother, wife, and myself so enjoyed the show. The singing was unexpectedly wonderful. The cast was great; perfect. We laughed. I personally had tears in my eyes during the show. Tears of joy and also for those tender moments. I truly loved the spiritual message that I recieved; forgiveness, love, and faith. Thank you for such an enjoyable afternoon. Much Love and Blessing to all.

A group of us went to see the play on 9/18/2014 in Riverside, Ca. It was hilarious, emotional, perfectly paced and enjoyable from start to finish. Everyone played their role perfectly, even the silent actors!! I've seen 3 Tyler Perry plays and even without Madea, this one did not disappoint. I hope Tyler will consider Riverside for his next play also.Thank you all for an outstanding delivery.
