Yes…the title is absolutely true. One lesson to learn in life: you can’t scorn a woman and think you’ve achieved an accomplishment. It never works out!

Anita Lincoln is a very successful, modern day, single woman living with all the luxury items available. She thrives in life having a great job and lots of friends. She also takes care of family, especially her younger sister, Mona, and Grandma Hattie. Mona has found true love and is getting married, totally funded by her sister, Anita.

But there is just one thing with Anita, she wants a loving man in her life to fill a void. That’s when Jasmine, her best friend and work associate, comes in. Jasmine takes it upon herself to “help” Anita find her man by matching her with someone on the internet. Randy is his name; shame is his game. But all that, of course, is unbeknownst to Anita at the time. He is very charming and loving and supposedly well-to-do.

On a trip to Las Vegas, Randy convinces Anita to marry him and the tides turn; Randy is in charge. But, beware of Randy! And be careful how you handle your business. A scorned woman takes no wooden nickels. Anita is appalled by the circumstances and determined to take her life back. The tides turn once again with Anita making sure Randy never……

The rest of the production is unpredictable and entertaining! Don’t miss Tyler Perry’s “Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned”!

We attended tonight's play in Florence and the sanging (singing, if u want to b proper) was amazing! Mama Hattie was hilarious! We thoroughly enjoyed the storyline, acting, music and the singing. We love Madea, but we didn't miss her character because the play still had plenty of comedy. Thank you for coming to Florence. Please come again.

“Stop it, stop it, stop it”. I loved this play so much the first time I saw it in North Charleston SC, that I had to go back to see it in Florence, SC. Great sanging, yes sanging, and acting. Always have been a fan of Tyler Perry's work, and each time he comes close to Myrtle Beach I will make it my business to go catch a play. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to your next play.

I really enjoyed the play in Macon on the 7th. This was my first live Tyler Perry production and I am a fan. The cast members were exceptional actors with an emphasis of grammy performance vocals. The characters were beliveable..Noticed the curtain call when Randy got a few boo's recognizing his outstanding job. Not hating but looking around the centerplex at the women' s scorned faces at Randy...."We have H*** To PAY" now! Much love to Anita but I thought she was going to deliver the hot grits. I don't know what else to say about Hattie except phenominal. She was comical, loveable and I related to her being a free spirit but still dedicated to her family providing inspiration when she knew her family needed it. She took no prisoner sand would challenging the rev at times but also fell on her knees giving respect to the almighty. Would have loved for you to make an appearance which would have completed my woman's night but maybe another venue. Until then...You have our complete support.
