Description:

Yes…the title is absolutely true. One lesson to learn in life: you can’t scorn a woman and think you’ve achieved an accomplishment. It never works out!

Anita Lincoln is a very successful, modern day, single woman living with all the luxury items available. She thrives in life having a great job and lots of friends. She also takes care of family, especially her younger sister, Mona, and Grandma Hattie. Mona has found true love and is getting married, totally funded by her sister, Anita.

But there is just one thing with Anita, she wants a loving man in her life to fill a void. That’s when Jasmine, her best friend and work associate, comes in. Jasmine takes it upon herself to “help” Anita find her man by matching her with someone on the internet. Randy is his name; shame is his game. But all that, of course, is unbeknownst to Anita at the time. He is very charming and loving and supposedly well-to-do.

On a trip to Las Vegas, Randy convinces Anita to marry him and the tides turn; Randy is in charge. But, beware of Randy! And be careful how you handle your business. A scorned woman takes no wooden nickels. Anita is appalled by the circumstances and determined to take her life back. The tides turn once again with Anita making sure Randy never……

The rest of the production is unpredictable and entertaining! Don’t miss Tyler Perry’s “Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned”!

I saw the play last night Friday 19 Sept and OMG it was absolutely amazing! Ms. Patrice Lovely did it again... "SD what's up , it's time to turn up." and turn up she did. That Beyonce song when she danced... Lord she had my stomach hurting I laughed so hard. I was so glad when that photo fell off the wall that she improvised... I said to myself I bet you she's going to work that in as a sign from God ans sure enough.. She did just that That is good acting.... Ms. Pepsi Riley honey... YASSSSS!!! Those vocals ma'am WERK!! The whole cast was amazing!! The story line was excellent and it touched me I recently about a month a half ago went through what she went through and Lord knows I wanted to give up BUT GOD!!! I didn't beat on nobody LOL but I did PRESS IN and GOD has been good to me... I am a new creature and I am above and not beneath! I pray that Tyler continues to consider San Diego a more PERMANENT spot for plays because if YOU show up the people will too!! It was real nice look forward to more to come from you TY!! Blessings to you!!

Very good play! There were so many different things that we as women could relate too. It really resonated with me when the main character lost her faith because of all that she had been through. I have been there and it is true that God will send people into your life to get you through it. Having people praying for you when you don't have the strength to do it for yourself makes all of the difference. Thanks for sharing this story.

The story was so sad and made me mad .I never seen the guy that bad in my life before. Is that story came from real life? Tyler we did a "girls night out" last night 9/19/2014 and we saw your play. It was outstanding! While we laughed throughout the whole play, we also understood the meaning you were getting across. My mother passed away in July 1992 but she had a couple of friends whom I call Auntie and one who is Nana to a lot of us. Last night we all went to the play along with my daughter and my bff Sandy. We're looking forward to many more of your wonderful productions.
