Description:

Yes…the title is absolutely true. One lesson to learn in life: you can’t scorn a woman and think you’ve achieved an accomplishment. It never works out!

Anita Lincoln is a very successful, modern day, single woman living with all the luxury items available. She thrives in life having a great job and lots of friends. She also takes care of family, especially her younger sister, Mona, and Grandma Hattie. Mona has found true love and is getting married, totally funded by her sister, Anita.

But there is just one thing with Anita, she wants a loving man in her life to fill a void. That’s when Jasmine, her best friend and work associate, comes in. Jasmine takes it upon herself to “help” Anita find her man by matching her with someone on the internet. Randy is his name; shame is his game. But all that, of course, is unbeknownst to Anita at the time. He is very charming and loving and supposedly well-to-do.

On a trip to Las Vegas, Randy convinces Anita to marry him and the tides turn; Randy is in charge. But, beware of Randy! And be careful how you handle your business. A scorned woman takes no wooden nickels. Anita is appalled by the circumstances and determined to take her life back. The tides turn once again with Anita making sure Randy never……

The rest of the production is unpredictable and entertaining! Don’t miss Tyler Perry’s “Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned”!

I went to the 2pm showing of the play and took my mother and mother in-law. We enjoyed the play so much that we can not stop talking about it to our friends. The are now wishing that they too had attended. I could not stop crying and laughing. The singing and acting was amazing. Please bring the next play you produce to the Hampton Roads area. I will definitely go see it. I LOVE all of your work. May GOD continue to bless your creativity.

After having to wait for the rescheduled dated from the canceled show in January it was well forth the wait!! This was extra special because it was my husband and my 5 year wedding anniversary and this was our first Tyler Perry play so we got two very special gifts. We love all of Mr. Perry's work and we try to support in every way we can. We are truly hoping that he will choose to bring another play to the Hampton/Norfolk area again. It would be even better to see Madea and Hattie together in a play!!

Thanks for returning to Norfolk, VA with "Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned". I bought my tickets for the January show, but it was cancelled due to a snowstorm and rescheduled for May 10. It made for a great mother's day gift. I've seen just about all of your stage plays, and thoroughly enjoyed it as always. The comedy and music is always great. The message is always phenomenal! Can't wait for the next play! Please continue the good work.
