Well, in the anticipation of wanting to see Madea up close, may have finally come true. I been hearing that Madea On the Run is schedule to come here Shreveport on March 6 at the Municipal Auditorium. Madea is making an appearance in the month that I was born. So, I told my mother that would make a great birthday present from me to me. I am pleased to say that I am pleased to see Madea up close and in person. It has been my long time dream that I will see Madea and the person that brought her to life in person. Dreams really do come true!

I am a business teacher at Rome High School and was wondering if you offer a tour of the studio and could possibly take time out to speak to my students on a possible field trip? The inspiration you give to the youth of today is amazing and I feel that meeting you and seeing what you have built from nothing would not only influence my students but help them see that anything is possible if you have determination and never give up. Thank you in advance for your consideration!!

Since you are a success in your own right and have beaten adversity, please take the time to verse yourself regarding the story of Nayara Justino-Atriz. She is a Brazilian dancer, model and entertainer who is recently telling her story about being the queen of Carnival and then having the title stripped because of prejudice, in favour of a lighter candidate. Interesting story.

Mr. Perry, how awesome it is of you personally to give us a tour of your facility. I am just in awe of your story of when you were homeless to here. I understand you had a vision, a dream and you never gave up. That inspires me so. I am a 50 year old beautiful black woman who have worked for the last 32 years in corporate America, only to be let go again due to cutbacks. I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a premiere Make Up Artist to whatever woman, man, boy or girl who wanted their inner beauty and outer beauty enhanced. I am completing my BA degree in Professional Retail Management in June of 2016. I had to complete my degree because I promised my son Jermaine and my daughter Jasmine if they got their degrees, I would get mine. Well God has blessed me to have two college graduates. My daughter is an Industrial Engineer (FAMU) and my son is a Videographer/Sound Tech/Photograher (Atlanta Art Institute). I lost my other son (Leo, 28) 6 years ago to a murder in NOLA. Yes I too am a native of New Orleans, 7th ward. I just want to be happy making people beautiful and making them feel good about themselves. Someone once told me, you are never to old to dream, so as long as I am breathing and as long as I am black, beautiful and bold, I will pursue my dream to be amongst the elite in the industry either doing their makeup or overseeing others do their makeup. My God is big, so my dreams are big. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to maybe meeting you one day soon. God Bless you for being such a blessing to the masses. Sincerely, Shermaine "Shar" Marshall
