I am sick of the show trying to promote homosexuality. It's almost like TP is trying to convince and push this issue out there. Either Tyler Perry is promoting Christianity or what???? On one end he's speaking in tongues at TD jakes church but yet so passionate About homosexuality. I am confused

Live and let live ?????I guess you don't read your bible. You cannot be saved and be a homosexual. Please repent Leviticus 18:22 - You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. I Corinthians 6:9(NIV) - Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Leviticus 20:13 - If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.

This show is awesome, one of the best I've seen. The plots are incredible. But I have to agree with TT, if Tyler is a Christian why is he promoting homosexuality. This is wrong both in the sight of God and man. When viewers who are on the verge watch this show, this is there confirmation that it is right. I must tell you all it is nasty and it is wrong, wrong, wrong. I would act the same way Veronica does. Besides that I enjoy watching it except when the h*** part comes on I cringe!!! Also I am not sorry for Candice she is too malicious, she is an awful little girl, she got exactly what she deserves. This is what happens when you interfere into a married relationship whether it is a good one or not that's besides the point.

The Bible condemns a lot of things that good 'church-going' flks do on a regular basis. If you look further in that scripture in Leviticus, you'll notice that trimming your beards and eating seafood are prohibited too. So you better throw away your razors and cancel that fish fry. Let God be the judge b/c you ain't in a position to judge no one!

I commend Mr. Perry for being brave and honest enough to present the issue of homosexuality as a reality for black men, and for showing how and why so many of them end up on the 'down low'. All you people with your judgments and bible thumping are boring and offensive to the rest of us who don't share your religious beliefs. Give it a rest! If you're going to quote the bible then look in the mirror and consider just how perfectly you yourself have lived up to its standards. Don't be surprised to find that you can't. And if you insist that you do then you're a hypocrite and a liar. Instead of judging other people you should be worrying about how God will judge YOU.

Maybe Tyler Perry is pushing acceptance. Isn't it okay to love the sinner, not the sin? That is if loving another person is a sin. Homosexuality is not mentioned on the 10 commandments, nor did I recall JESUS CHRIST listing it as one of the greater commandments, HE did say however to LOVED GOD AND OTHERS. HE did not say UNLESS they're homosexual. As always , thank you Tyler for sharing the true interpersonal dynamics that negatively effect the children of GOD who find true love with a same sex partner.

TP was molested by male relatives as a child. He is at least bisexual himself and it widely rumored that is TD Jakes is gay(bisexual). The conflict for Tyler is that he has a religious background so he struggles with these two opposing side of himself. You cannot be at Tyler's level in Hollywood without being at least bisexual. Not gonna happen for no one...no exceptions.

I think TT is ignorant and judgmental. Any idiot that lives in the world today knows that homosexuality is real and Tyler is not promoting homosexuality he is touching on the issues that we live with in the world today. I wish people would shut up and just be happy that we have something on TV other than a reality show full of BS and drama.

Hey TT, Have you ever heard the words (entertainment only). Tyler's only sin is he knows how to make that money and laughing at you all the way to the BANK! Don't judge your life or others leave that stuff for the man above and you live your life the way you see fit. Oh by the way stop watching we have enough interested viewers to keep the show airing each Tuesday night. The show is technically for grown up not Kids.

I do not think TP is promoting homosexuality. They are all over the place, even in our churches. It is life and TP is trying to show us so much about the have and the have nots. Don't for get the name of the show. It can cover any number of subjects. So far I enjoy it all. The actors are acting out their characters very well. They are given script to read and memorize and I understand that TP will stop a scene if it is not like he wants it to be. Keep up the great work all.

okay Mr.Holy and sanctamonial, or should I say Mr.Perfect, it seems quite frankly you know the scriptures perfectly well as I do and don't get me wrong I'm not going against the scriptures, but since you're blatantly and disrespectfully advising all these persons to repent of their distasteful sins, my friend they should all advise the same for yourself.......... I meant are you for real, you know it amazes me how hypocrites like you seems to quote so many scriptures about the sins you see being committed by others and what's going to happen to them if the don't change or repent , and you find absolutely none to suite the ones you're doing....... Gosh!!!! For your FYI... for I can also "Quote" It is the same Holy Book which said the Lord came to save the sinners not to condemn.

DRUGS FORNICATION ABORTION DRUNKENESS LUST THE LIST GOES ON. ONLY GOD CAN FORGIVE US AND JUDGE US HE IS HERE TO CALL ALL OF US TO REPENTENCE.

What makes you think someone practicing homosexuality can't speak in tongues. Stop judging people and just pray for them and love them as Christ would love and forgive you for your covert and overt sins. Aren't you glad for the blood?

Tt: seriously? I can't believe in 2015 I am still hearing people spout the bible and its outdated practices and advice. Remember slavery anyone? Perfectly condoned in the bible with rules how to treat your slave. Why anyone would lay a religious guilt trip on people is beyond me. But bible believers aren't the most tolerant people, are they? Grow up TT. Stop using an antiquated book to promote your bigotry.

I agree with the bible, BUT, homosexuality is no worse than any other sin. EX...... You may not gossip, but you eat too much, you may not lie, but you covet what your neighbor has. You may not cheat or steal, but you doubt God in areas of your life you shouldn't. SO don't make homosexuality A BIGGER SIN than anything else. A lot of the things we call ungodly are depicted in his plays WHY? because it's in the world. If you work, I'm sure you don't stop going to work because there is a liar, adulterer, a thief or a homosexual, in the building. No! You forget we are in the world, NOT OF, the world. We have to deal with sin because we are the light. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE in darkness, so YOU MAY gain some. BUT if his plays, t v shows are hindering your walk with GOD. Do what's best for your soul and DON'T tune in. Some Christians can't look at t v shows like this, because their afraid enjoying them is a sin....NOT SO!!! Love You With An Everlasting Love!!! Believe it or not Tyler Perry is reaching people.

Yes you can be saved and be homosexual. Just as one can be saved and committing any other kind of sin. Many Christians struggle in various areas of life. If we never sin we would not need God or a saver. If there is any Christian who claims not to commit sin after being saved I would be shocked. Why do we believe that one sin is bigger than the other. sin is sin in the sight of God. We allow men to commit adultery with another woman, an pray for the woman to reconcile with her man. but we d*** the man when he commits the same sin with another man. I hate all sin and so does GOD. Sin promoted in all forms bothers me because I worry about the message we are sending to our young children. I also recognize that we need to see sin for what it is but show God's redemptive power at the end. so hopefully Tyler Perry comes true.

Jacque, I agree with you. Sin is sin period!!! You will be surprised that those who are speaking out about it has their own demons. again I am not a promoter of any form of sin, and we should react the same when we see other things on TV. Do we speak out against Violent and abusive rap music, do we speak out against abuse, do we speak out against lying, cheating, and the list goes on. Then in that case we won't be watching anything on TV including the evening news and neither one of us will be in Church. Lord Jesus thanks for salvation and that we are continually trying to be like you, because we fall short of the Glory of God each time. Even the Apostle Paul had his struggle. He said the things that he don't want to do is what he does (paraphrasing)! I can remember a time when I first got save how I struggled in certain areas does that mean I was not save...so how could anyone question Tyler Perry or anyone else's salvation. We may be really surprise who actually makes it to heaven. Again Jacque Sin is Sin and trust me we all have our demons that we fight every single day.
