Description:

For Better Or Worse centers around two of Perry's favorite characters from the big screen, Marcus and Angela, who were first introduced to the world in Tyler Perry's blockbuster hit feature films, "Why Did I Get Married?", and "Why Did I Get Married Too?". For Better Or Worse is a dramedy that follows the tumultuous relationship of the lovesick couple. Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White are back to reprise their roles in the half-hour show. Michael plays Marcus, an ex football player turned sports commentator. Tasha Smith will also resume her role as Angela, the edgy and outspoken wife of Marcus, who is intent on giving him hell every step of the way. The show also follows the lives of those who Marcus and Angela call their friends. The sets, high fashion and the strikingly good-looking cast come together to create a truly sexy and provocative half-hour of television. Viewers will experience a fresh approach to the traditional sitcom format that will provide all the elements of well-crafted storytelling and the raw intrigue of reality TV. For Better Or Worse explores the controversial and joyous moments associated with marriage and dating in the 21st century world. Like always, viewers will leave with life-changing messages that have become a trademark of the Perry brand of entertainment.

Mr. Perry I know you get people asking you for something or another everyday, I am only asking for advice. I am a single mother of three, just moved to another city and a struggling writer. I just finished my first book, it took me 8yrs to write because its about my life and I feel that God led me to write it not only to heal but to help others my question is what is the best way to get my story to the public?

I loved the episode when Jenny meets Harold. I used to be very overweight and I see Jennifer in myself so many times. I see her and saw me. Thank you for bringing not only to the whole HIV issue but and this will be hard to say but I have been there. That overweight girl that wants to be loved so much that she will risk it all for that little moment of affection. You are the real deal. Thank you.

Hello Mr Perry, I love this show. The topics are relevant to our complex lives we live in today's world. I hope you can focus on busting up some stereotypes of how black people love one another. Thanks

I have enjoyed For Better or Worse and look forward to a new season. However, I really hope that the show does not become predicitable. For instance, Leslie and Joseph getting back together. I would like to see Leslie marry the "other" guy. It would make for many more teachable moments. The stories/struggles that could be told with that marriage. A marriage between Joseph and Leslie would be a boring story line. Joseph had his chance lets see him pick up the pieces from his loss and have to interact with Leslie because they have mutual friends. Let's see Joseph deal with his real issues. What happened to the HIV story line, one test is not enough to clear you, expanding the full-figured quest for love, Keesha's secret (how about her having to pay that child support back). Here is a great opportunity for yet another teachable moment. Michael being involved with organizations that are helping men who are falsley accused of fathering a child and the repercussions. Single parenthood and child support. Tasha and Michael's chemistry could use a boost. I am so glad that Tasha calmed down from the initial pilot as a story with just an "angry" Tasha was a real turn off. If you have teenagers on the show more age appropriate interaction with their parents would be good. All to say GREAT WORK...just keep it all unpredictable. Predictable leads to ####
