Description:

From prolific, writer, director, producer Tyler Perry, The Haves and the Have Nots is a new television drama that follows the complicated dynamic between the rich and powerful Cryer family and the hired help who work in their opulent mansion set in Savannah, Georgia.

From the outside, the Cryers are the enviable face of success and wealth, but behind the veil the family’s dysfunction threatens to destroy their world of privilege. Cryer family patriarch Jim Cryer (John Schneider) is a powerful judge whose double-life, including tawdry affairs with high-priced escorts, puts his family and political ambitions at risk. His wife, Katheryn Cryer (Renée Lawless), is the ultimate matriarch portraying a loving and dutiful wife, but she is willing to do anything to protect her family’s status. Their son Wyatt (Aaron O’Connell) is a troubled angry jock who cares little for his own image and finds himself in and out of rehab. His sister Amanda (Jacyln Betham), a struggling law student, tries harder to live up to her parents’ expectations, but unknowingly has befriended a scurrilous young woman, Candace Young, with the power to ruin the entire family.

Hanna Young (Crystal Fox) is the Cryer’s maid and the matriarch of her family. Despite having no money, she has found other types of wealth through religion and virtue. She prides herself on her dutiful son Benny (Tyler Lepley), the glue who helps keep the family together. Hanna does have one dark secret, however, her estranged daughter Candace (Tika Sumpter)—a manipulative opportunist who will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Other characters in the series include the Cryer’s chef Celine (Eva Tamargo), their wealthy friends Veronica (Angela Robinson) and David Harrington (Peter Parros), and son Wyatt’s rehabilitation counselor, Jeffery Harrington (Gavin Houston).

I love the HAHN. There should be a twist in what happened last. Warlock should find Quincy before he burns Hannah's house. Kill him and burn his body and bury the ashes. Candace should wake up after having a terrible nightmare. Jeffery should walk in to console her and to tell her he found his car. The two of them go to the wrecking yard have the car chopped and melted. Then, because of her nightmare she slows her emotion where Oscar is concerned. She let's him know they are moving to fast. She let her Mom take care of Q as long as she promises to live with Benny. She concentrate on passing the bar and getting hired by a good firm. In the mean time Jim continues as he plans. Katherine decides Wyatt should have his inheritance, with the understanding that since he hate them so much he should find another part of the world to live. David should have Veronica committed. Jim changes his mind about having a hit on her. Because of the strength that Katherine is showing Jim is turned on and they start to work at putting there marriage together again. They decide to give up politics and Jim retire as a judge. I'm sure you can follow this story line. Whatever a man sows he will reap.

Jeffery realize he is not g** and the girl is not pregnant. He had misplaced affection for Wyatt. He and Candice remain best of friends.

As an older citizen I do believe that the HAHN is the best series that I have seen since the original Lonesome Dove. Also there are several actors I do enjoy . Mr. Crier was wonderful in transitioning from "Dukes" to HAHN. Jeffery is one of the HOTTES men on the show. Even though he portrays a g** man which is okay by me he is eye candy to a lot of people. Thanks Tyler Perry job well done. Oh yes I wish it wasn't on OWN I am sick and tired of having OPRAH shoved down our throats. Yes she is talented and richer than God but enough is enough.

Dear Mr. Tyler Perry, I am so proud of you and your achievements and your honesty and courage. I am just a little ol' senior citizen who particularly loved to watch The Have and The Have Nots. Cable has gotten too expensive for me and I was wondering if you could possibly make Own available on Hulu or Roku or an app. ? Or an individual pay channel similar to what CBS is doing so all of your golden age fans can see the shows...Thank you in advance for giving me the privilege to contact you...stay Blessed, Valeria

One of the finest pieces of acting I have EVER seen was Hanna, in the hospital's chapel, as she begged, bargained, and accepted whatever plan her Lord had for Bennie. That one scene is what keeps me coming back. Crystal Fox is amazing.

I would like purchase DVD's for myself also, Mr. Tyler. Thank you for your response and time.

I am a TP/OW fan and that's why I tuned in for HAHN series premier. I stayed tuned in week after grueling week hoping beyond hope that the poor level of production was simply a glitch that no one behind the scenes noticed. Surely the lighting, the script, the music, etc., would begin to show signs of life and rise to a level of quality viewing. Well finally, beginning with season 4, life found a way! Thank you to all of the wonderful actors who sacrificed their reputations to hang in there! HAHN is now a must-see in my book. Yes, suspend any need for realism relative to law and order. This is soap to the max and I'm lovin' it! SOMEONE took a page out of Shonda's playbook. Hang on to your hats for January, 2016. Thank you TP and OW - HAHN has risen!
