Description:
Tyler Perry's House of Payne is a comedy series about a multigenerational, working class family who experiences all of life's struggles with faith, love and most importantly humor. Pops, the uncle and head of the household, has his life and home turned upside down when an unexpected event forces his nephew, CJ, played by Allen Payne, and CJ's kids to move into the house, putting three generations under one roof.
This chaotic living situation takes its toll on cranky Pops, who is reluctant to have his routine disturbed. In addition to CJ's family, Pops and Ella's son, Calvin, a wise-cracking college kid with no money, hangs out at home which makes it impossible for Pops to have any peace and quiet. It soon becomes evident just how wide the generation gap is, as the family tries to find a way to coexist through all of life's hilarious ups and downs.
Putting the family back in family comedy, Tyler Perry's House of Payne tackles real life issues with very funny humor.

It makes no sense to have cancelled House of Payne.. Why?!?! Every show was excellent... The story lines were great... It was relatable, heartfelt, touching and real.. Candidly, as a fan and viewer -- it even made no sense how it ended... It left a lot of unanswered questions about the futures of Calvin/Miranda, CJ/Jeanine, Malik, Jasimen and so on... Would you disclose if there were any other factors that cused the show to be cancelled? Budgeting, cast member issues/conflicts? Anything.. Many followers are highly disappointed, but I guess it's too late... I wish the cast members and crew all the best of success.... Reese

Tyle I have been searching every Friday night for my beloved House of Payne. It was like Curtis and Ella were my family and I miss them. I do not like For Better or Worse. I think it is horrible, the characters are awful and I have no connection to them. I truly wish House of Payne could come back. We forgive you for taking it, only if you bring it back. I can bet you everything, that if you take a survey between this "new" show and House of Payne, the people will vote for House of Payne. The characters were believable and had something to offer viewers. Take that horrible For better or Worse off. I refuse to watch it. Terrible.

I so agree with this right now.. I could not watch For Better For Worse.. I tried.. It's just not working for me..at all.. :-/ Bring back House of Payne...

Tyler, I have been a follower of yours for many years. The best sitcom you had on TV was the House of Payne and Meet the Browns. Please bring new episodes of these two. Especially, the House of Payne. The new one you have "For Better or For Worse" is horrible. It is the dumbest programming you have done so far. This one should be removed from television. I really looked forward to watching House of Payne and Meet the Browns on Friday nights. Now I have to look for other things to watch. I feel a lot of people could relate to House of Payne and Meet the Browns. Please, please, please bring them back!

Tyler my wife and I are huge fan of yours not that we are better/bigger fans than others. I thought I share that my wife cried when she heard that HOP was ending. Even to this day she can't fix herself to watch the reruns because she's reminded of the show ended. We wish you much success but can't seem to get into the new show for Better or Worse. It's that HOP was a family show that spoke to many family issues including mines. It show that we have hope. Please bring back HOP.....You can start your own network or work with Oprah to have air on her station. Please bring it back

Can you make all seasons of the tv show house of payne available on netflix, for purchase on both DVD and iTunes because the ones available now are only on amazon.com and its not the entire season it's only volumes29-24 episodes per DVD but each season has over 50 episodes per season. Additionally, price per volume I feel is too high, one last thing I'd really appreciate it if you remove a scene from I think one of your movies in which the actor playing the preacher says "I don't pray to Muhammad, I don't pray to Allah" I was shocked to see a Tyler perry production have so much prejudice and ignorance of Muslims and the Islamic faith and honestly was very upset and offended because you've got no right to mock Muslims or the islamic faith! FYI ALLAH MEANS GOD IN ARABIC AND WE DON'T PRAY TO PROPHET MUHAMMAD ( peace and blessings be upon him) WE PRAY TO GOD AND ONLY TO GOD. As an African American you should know how it feels to be prejudiced against by those who think and feel they're better than everybody else.

Tyler, I am really missing House of Payne way up here in Canada!!! I love the show. We do get re-runs on the Peachtree channel but it would be nice to see new episodes! Blessings to you from Canada!

True, For Better or Worse isn't really...all that. But dont be so harsh. In his other post he was talking about how he's not ready for House of Payne to end either!! How it still has a bit of life left in it!!! He's thinking about bringing the show back!!!

Mr. Tyler Perry, I love all of your movies and shows! I didn't know when the series finale episode "All's Well" for House of Payne and I was wondering if maybe you might be able to put it on television as a repeat episode because I am very upset that I didn't get to see it. I am a House of Payne and I watch all the episodes and I just missed this one interesting episode.
