Description:
Tyler Perry's House of Payne is a comedy series about a multigenerational, working class family who experiences all of life's struggles with faith, love and most importantly humor. Pops, the uncle and head of the household, has his life and home turned upside down when an unexpected event forces his nephew, CJ, played by Allen Payne, and CJ's kids to move into the house, putting three generations under one roof.
This chaotic living situation takes its toll on cranky Pops, who is reluctant to have his routine disturbed. In addition to CJ's family, Pops and Ella's son, Calvin, a wise-cracking college kid with no money, hangs out at home which makes it impossible for Pops to have any peace and quiet. It soon becomes evident just how wide the generation gap is, as the family tries to find a way to coexist through all of life's hilarious ups and downs.
Putting the family back in family comedy, Tyler Perry's House of Payne tackles real life issues with very funny humor.

I recently discovered The House of Payne, I love it! I am having to watch it in reruns, I wish I could have started watching it from the beginning! I hope you can get it back on the air! It has substance and I love it!!! Thank you.

looked forward to friday nights waited all week sorry to say but for better or worse cannot touch the HOP.the Hop had substance for better or worse is the worse just another empty headed show showcasing boobs! you are better than that tyler even at your worse!

Tyler, please bring back House of Payne. This show is 10 times better than For Better or Worse. When you ended this show, it felt like my family moved out of town! Please bring it back.

You and the other writers need to come up with some more of the House of Payne. This show touched a lot of people because you kept it real, with real life things. I didn't like they way it ended.

What is wrong with the world? How can HOP be cancelled?? That was the funniest, cleanest and most heartwarming show on the tube. Most of the episodes the whole family could watch. Me and my hubby used to plan a little at home date time to watch the HOP episodes on demand or on Fridays. I just cannot believe that the show is over. WE WANT MORE HOP NOW!!!!

I am a fan of all your movies. I must agree with the others who posted their comment on the cancellation of the House of Payne. There are lots of tv sitcom we can be watching but they do not peek my interest. House of Payne make you laugh (so funny) make you cry and feel sad. This show cover all the basis. There is only a few show that I watch faithful. The House of Payne is my number one show. I am 60 years old and when I am bored I can always look at a house of Payne rerun on On Demand. But now that the show is cancel I am sadden. I hope some tv station pick it up and you continue to write more exciting story lines for House of Payne. Some show should end but not House of Payne. The story line can go on and on. The children are growing up (story line) , Calvin finding a job and changing his life (story line), I don't care if Calvin and Miranda get back together I can see him moving on to something better (you snooze you lose) another story line. Like I say don't stop now. I see many more shows to cone. Please Tyler Perry let your creative juices flow. I know you can.

Hi i am a fan of house of payne and i found out recently that it was cancelled on TBS now i think you should do what the game did and go on BET as they help black entertainment shows please as someone from overseas who loves yours shows and movies please think about

God bless the day you were born Mr Tyler. You are a blessing to our generation. I watch all your movies and tv shows and they have changed me so much as an individual. The themes are very solid and what we need in this time and age where everything is going haywire. theres something to always bring us back and remind us of how blessed we are, no matter how rough the road seems. You are a great man, May the Lord bless your works. The best is yet to come for you,thats quite obvious, your path would continually shine on and on. Another thing i pray for is for house of payne to come back with the major cast,including Jasmine. I love that show soo much... I pray tbs brings it back, i believe there is still more to be written thats why i could not believe it ended just like that. I almost cried when i realized it had ended. You got me hooked. Please look into it.....please please please

It's a Truly Great Family show That brings, smiles, Tears, Laughter, Its just Truly A Wonderful Feeling When Watching ..Amazingly Iv even seen Characters on the HOP that Iv Often wondered about over the years, How they were doing, How their Lives Were Going and EVEN If They STILL Acted???... One such person was Crystal R. Fox... She Played the Nanny, Funny Spicy Fiesty Lady... Ms Wilhelmina on HOP...But...she Firstly and also Used to play on.... In the Heat of The Night.... Years ago...Playing one of the first Afri Ameri Female cops on the Sparra Force... So to MY Please, It was such a sweet delight to see her still Acting AND still a Singer... Another Actress, Anne- Marie Johnson... She played Janine's Mother & Calvin's Mother In Law... She also used to play on In The Heat Of The Night... As Detective Tibbs SCHOOL TEACHER WIFE... So this was very reminiscent of years gone by...But Tyler Perry Managed to intertwine THEM Sweetly, Right into our Present... Good Job with Tyler... We need that in our Lives still today Tyler...
