Tyler Perry's House of Payne is a comedy series about a multigenerational, working class family who experiences all of life's struggles with faith, love and most importantly humor. Pops, the uncle and head of the household, has his life and home turned upside down when an unexpected event forces his nephew, CJ, played by Allen Payne, and CJ's kids to move into the house, putting three generations under one roof.

This chaotic living situation takes its toll on cranky Pops, who is reluctant to have his routine disturbed. In addition to CJ's family, Pops and Ella's son, Calvin, a wise-cracking college kid with no money, hangs out at home which makes it impossible for Pops to have any peace and quiet. It soon becomes evident just how wide the generation gap is, as the family tries to find a way to coexist through all of life's hilarious ups and downs.

Putting the family back in family comedy, Tyler Perry's House of Payne tackles real life issues with very funny humor.

    Please don't cancell the show at least have a last season instead of just cancelling it right away. But make it a happy ending not a sad ending but please make a last season of house of payne at least that and read my commet please

    Honestly Tyler...........this was and still is one of the best TV series I had ever seen...........Keep up the good work.............Seriously, the cancellation of House of Payne is a big mistake.........this show means much to me and in fact, I really do look forward to watching it.......So thumbs up to you Tyler

    What a shock!I had no idea the show was cancel.I was looking forward to seeing what happens to Calvin and Miranda next season until I googled and found out different.None of those new sitcomes(For Better Or For Worse/Meet The Browns)will ever have the ratings as House Of Payne.You've made a big mistake and also disappointed many fans of the show by ending it like this.I hope u reconsider because this has been one of my favorite sitcoms which reminds me of the good ole days...when sitcomes had morals,values,God,and guidance.Signing out.....brokenhearted fan.

    Instead of another H.O.P. episode, if provided the choice. I would much rather watch paint dry than another H.O.P. episode. in fact i would pay double not to see another episode

      Take a long walk off a short pier !! House of Payne was and is the best sitcom on TV EVER !!!! You don't like any program on TV for god sake change the channel that's what the TV remote is for just in case no one has explained to you !!!!!!!

    I love House of Payne!!! I DVR everyday to catch the show. I agree with "nard." There should be a special or the show should come back as soon as possible. This is one of the few show II feel comfortable allowing my children to look at. Please bring the show back!

    Everyone has their own opinion about House of Payne. To me it had gotten very boring and you can tell some of the actors were over acting. Now Meet the Brown should have stayed on. Do you think it can be put on Own Station?
